Wow great sounding concert! I will have to check if its on DVD. Been a fan since HS in the 70's. Do miss Boz though, he was so locked in. I get a kick out of the bassist. He sort of has this Geezer Butler thing going on. Too funny!
My 2 kids and I met Paul after his show at BBKings in NY 2/3 years ago. He was my favorite as a teen and he has maintained his incredible voice. He has influenced my kids as they perform some Free and Bad Co songs in their shows.
I could'nt agree more on some of your comment VetteZepplin!!! No offense, but Freddie and Plant aren't even in the same catagory. As far as having "soul" I'm sorry but Mr Rodgers blows them away. Not to mention Paul's voice (like fine wine) got SOOO much better with age, which believe it or not, is SO unheard of. I've been a professional guitarist since the late 70's and I've NEVER seen anyone get that much better. Sure, polished for sure, but not advanced as Paul...
The finest Rock Singer still around today is Paul Rodgers, no one comes close..yes there was Freddie Mercury and of course Robert Plant...well Freddie os gone and Mr. Plant who is still awesome doesn't sing hard rock anymore and either way it could be argued that Rodgers is the best of them anyway!!
Great warm-up for a show...anything that makes the hips rock...then roll....

Paul Rodgers looks like he just crawled out of a gutter, but damn, he sure isn't one of those singers who needs alterations to make him sound good.
