  • parts in the tower are so hard to get out i swear its like their super glued lol thx

  • Uh that 6-pin connection on my old Dell goes to the motherboard, but it also does graphics cards??? I though older graphics cards had molex connectors?

  • @MrTpengineer NO! That's a different kind of 6-pin called an AUX connector. The PCIe 6-pin connector is only +12V and ground. Your AUX connector has +3.3V, +5V, etc. Totally different.

  • @jonnyGURU 1:13 that hooks up to the Dell motherboard in order for it to work, tried it with a graphics card but the graphics card had a molex connection, looked up the connector online and never found one card from 2002 that used that type of connection.

  • @MrTpengineer This video was shot back in 2002. PCIe power connectors didn't exist back then!!!

  • @jonnyGURU Ok, the Dell is from 1998. you confuse me :( lol

  • 12V wire that goes to motherboard is the only 12V wire coming out of power supply?

  • @MAnGaThaBOy: No. ALL of the yellow wires carry +12V. This one is called the +12V power connector because +12V is all that it supplies.

  • I have a question. If i were to accidently plug wires in to the wrong spots, would it do any damage to my pc?

  • @seatondosher

connectors are keyed with little notches in the corners, so you don't connect them the wrong way by mistake.

  • Plz help me I have a power supply and I need to know if you can just plug it into the wall for it to work

  • wrong... most newer computers have 24 pin, i do in both... and they are core 2 duo, but it's 1 processor...

and the agp pro thing is like obsolete, now we have 6 or 8 pin...

  • so red wire on hard drive must be 12V? mine is 32.9V. is this OK?? it's old pc, pata hd

  • Thanks for the video!

BTW is a 650 Watt PSU suitable for Intel 865DPERL MotherBoard, 2 HDD's and 2 CD Roms?

  • No processor or graphics card? Sure! More than enough.

  • LOL! come on, you know what i mean.

Of course there's a processor and a graphics card, and they're: Intel 2.8 Ghz 1 MB Cache and Nvidia GeForce 6200 256 MB AGP

  • How big are the HDDs? Also what processor is it? It should be more than enough I think.

  • Intel 2.8 Ghz 1 MB Cache processor.
