  • thanx for sharing this video.

  • najo wer is deutsch

  • A great talk from a great man.

  • I love MIT.

  • reptilian'

  • I think I was more impressed that I finished the whole video, asides from that it was a great interview and a learned a lot. Eric has answered a few questions I had of my own, very pleased.

  • thx and god bless. ^_^

  • Very long tiiime hahahhaha yea right u got fired

  • Yes Eric, the did listen and the chose to make a REVOLUTION instead of using the Internet to do creepy things.

    Insightful ...

  • Like the Windows 7 joke. lol

  • Greasy guy.

  • Eric Schmidt has a really good sense of forward thinking. He is in a remarkable position having a company that, handled correctly, could be around for a long time. Google is like what Ford was to the Motor Industry in being the leader to lay the ground work for future generations of the internet.

At multiple points in the video Eric gets very excited when talking about potential of the internet and has made it clear that Google will be a huge player.

What will Google look like in 25-years?

  • 에릭슈미트가 똑똑하다는게 느껴지는 영상. 정치인을하면 더 어울릴거 같은데.

  • 37:12 That is what Microsoft said before they started building Vista - computers of the future can run this!

  • I'm a little disappointed, Eric Schmidt is using Windows 7. :)

    Good interview as usual.

  • NPR? Failure. Huffington Post? Failure. Why would Google tie themselves down to failed concepts? Elitism? Irrational ideology? "I can spend your money better than you can." Bill Clinton

In the NPR and Huffington Post examples we have alternative successful models. Not just successful but wildly successful. Conservative/Free Market Radio is far more successful than NPR or any other kind of radio in the USA. Huffington Post generates about as much money as Drudge Report but nets nearly $0.

  • Hate this guy

  • @MoJoSB why?

  • The MIT Media Lab can't get the mics to work properly? C'mon fellas.

  • @nino210 His metal heart must hav been causing all that mic prob.

  • Eric is so incredibly wise.. i hope when i finished my computer science degree i am at least half as wise as he is!

  • @megaporkchop Quit sucking people's dicks. I'm tired of people putting themselves down and claiming that they're not worthy. Just fucking do something with yourself already and stop pretending you're helpless and stupid.

If you live your whole life aimlessly wandering around with a head full of dreams but no hope for your future and no confidence in your abilities, then of course you'll admire anyone who has actually done something successful.

  • @radicalgarbage02 lol ur an idiot, being wise comes with age u idiot and before you go around judging people and flaming maybe you should just bite your tongue. I am studying Computer Science & AI as a Masters so don't sit there are and and call people aimless when you know nothing.

And there is nothing wrong with praising someone who in my case i use them as an example (a.k.a. Eric Schmidt) as that is my goal. Once again bite your tongue and quit flaming.

  • @megaporkchop I didn't say that you weren't capable or competent if that's what you're getting at. And, how wise someone is does not correlate with age. I know plenty of elder idiots. There definitely is something wrong with praising someone when you only want to emulate them. What kind of life is that?

It seems like your insecurities have helped you feel insulted when I only meant to encourage you to not think of others and yourself as "better" or "worse".

  • @megaporkchop typically it's the idiots that slander others intelligence. seeing how you spell and formulate sentences, you should take a elementary level English class. i'm not flaming you, i'm just stating truths. but really, it doesn't matter what you study, that doesn't make you smart. how you score in your classes does not make you smart. how you're able to apply what you learned to solve a problem at your job and creating what others haven't does indeed make one a smart cookie.

  • very insighful
