What did you use after you lotioned your face and how did you do it? :) It looks like you used a face paint, but you mentioned "powder", that's why I'm asking is all :) lol

No they dont put pink on at all you dont need to be a senior Maiko! They dont cover it in black, some put some on but they dont cover it! Well im just saying! lol. xx
I dont mean to be mean but it really wrong! You didnt mix it up by putting on mascara, alot of maiko use it! They usually use red on there eye brows and the whits face paint wasnt white enought and you forgot to do your neck! That wid has nothing in common with a maiko or geiko's hair apart from its black! They put little bright red bits in the side of there eye not pink! and pink blush around their forehead! And what sakura are you talking about in the little information part?

I understand your comments, and I have studied geisha culture but I just did this video for fun... the Sakura thing was the name of a song. Anyway, it was just for fun, I know its not accurate, its not supposed to be. so please dont be offended. The wig is bad, its an anime wig, I know. I'll add something to the sidebar to clear things up. Thanks!
Maiko's only put pink on in the begging of their training, they put a lot on, not red until they become senior Maiko. They do put red paint on their eyebrows, but then they cover it completely with black, just try and relax and have fun watching this video, everyone knows it not actually a how-to be a geisha, lol.
I would have not lined the bottom of my eyes if i were you. And i dislike the wig...lol...but you looked very cute and in general it turned out well....^^
