yes isbilen is right but the spartans were weaker...still very powerful...reach is the first planet close to earth to fall to the covenant. it mainly had military installations and it is where the spartans trained.

the reason why people like halo so much is because it's such a hugely polished unique shooter with multiplayer that just doesn't get old and a pretty dang good campaign mode. Oh, and great music too.

Honestly now, this game is a FPS within a hub world, that's very different.

NO I am a huge fan of the Halo series, but even I am forced to admit that call of duty is a better game. At least in terms of Storyline, multiplayer, gameplay, campaighn, graphics, and overall fun, but halo's main thing keeping it up there with the best is riding on both hype, and the prestige of Halo1, Forge, It's classic multiplayer, films, custom games, and the occasional pleather of downloadable content. Oh and the graphics are still pretty good.
