"ARAGORN (echoorn)" I love that part. Boromir feels empathy for the hobbits, when Aragorn decides they have to move on. Legolas's look just shows that hes grieved by his passing, and Gimli is upset because Gandalf is a great ally and friend to the Dwarves of Erebor.

I'd say "This is Sparta" deserves more because that's what the entire movie was about - the stubborn pride of the outnumbered Spartans. That one moment made the entire movie - if leonidus had screamed "THIS IS...A GOOD PROPOSITION!", it would've been over.

Pretty awesome scene, but again I can't help but cringe when I hear that little hobbit scream and carry on like that. It ruins the entire movie for me. I think it might have just been the actor. Again, this is strictly my opinion, but I feel that he was mis-cast for that role. Stands out in my mind as really bothersome throughout the entire saga. But that's just me. Great actor otherwise, just not for LOTR.

if you thought sauron was bad he was a pussy compared to morgoth. morgoth had hordes of balrogs and a force so huge even all the might of the eldar could not assail him. It was only when the gods came out of the west and drove him off middle earth into the void that he was defeated. some of the balrogs went deep underground this one managed to hide but was then released when the dwarves dug too deep and he escaped. I hope they make films about the silmarillion some day, would be awesome

Gandalf said some pretty strange things throughout the series so it was an easy mistake. I love this film, I've got the special extended edition trilogy box set. Goes for like 12 hours. A small price to pay for a devout fan. What is the name of the song that is played after he falls? It's so good.
