  • i think the mayan had migrated to what would become the Aztecs.

  • @CoreyStudios2000

No, the people who eventually would become the Aztec came from the north (of mexico). They called themselves the Mexica. After they arrived at lake Texcoco their prophecy became truth after sighting an eagle sitting on a cactus (a sign from the Gods). Soon they began expanding the land into the lake, and build Tenochtitlán on top of it.

  • @shalis16 well what if the northern tribes met with some mayan refugees and learned how to build the aztec empire? That is what I was asking.

  • Sounds like they were all abducted by aliens.

  • "Ancient Whites created the mayan civilization"

"The Mayan God was an ancient blonde blue eyed man"

"Ancient caucasian civilization were in ancient central america"

"Black people were the original Mayans"

These are what people actually said on other youtube vidoes.

  • @jellyjigglerman Oh god, really? People can be so stupid.

  • @jellyjigglerman you got a whole lot of shit for brains, there are still mayans and aztecs some are mix with european dna,if you think we dont know our ancestors and history your stupid, and i do belive my ancestors the aztecs are gods.

  • @1980vince I don't you understand what I meant, ethnocentrists are claiming these civilizations.

  • Everyone thinks we're very advanced now in the 21st Century. Really, we are not. We cannot even discover how the ancient egyptians truly built the pyramids without the technology we have. Every argument about how the pyramids were built are just theories.

  • Robocop goes maya

  • I used to have almost zero interest in the Maya. After watching a documentary about how the Maya waged war in the Late Classic Period, I had a change of opinion. Maya war was brutal in the extreme!

  • The Maya continue to exist just not in those cities anymore. They never did.

  • the Maya will always be kings of America

  • blood sacrifice - what a stupid, primitive, brutal culture

  • @stonem001 a dude who's god's son and walks around in a white cloth wow what a gay culture..... dont make fun of religion

  • @lifes40123

don't make fun? err i wasn't i believe i was criticizing blood sacrifice and the ppl who practiced it. It being 'religious' doesn't make it off limits?

  • Comment removed

  • @stonem001 you ignorant buffoon! wtf do you call the American Revolution, the U.S. Civil War, World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam, and Iraq. VACATION TOURS????? War IS blood sacrifice, you narrow minded fool!

  • @tongvabear The funny thing is that Christianity is ALSO a blood sacrifice religion, just like the Mayan one.

  • i was there last month for a week, the most gorgeous dream like place EVer!

    absolutely stunning!

  • proud of my true ancestors the maya

  • dont think about the past anymore. its more about the future

  • what do you mean dont think of the past these people are my blood your ignorant i will never forget my identity.

  • Fight for your identity then. Resist globalism. Adopt the old ways of your people instead of the corrupting ones from the West. Embrace your shamanistic heritage and lead your people to a brighter future of prosperity.

  • and first it starts with knowledge. YOU IGNORANT.

  • Knowledge? Sure more people should be informed. Perhaps that would encourage those to take action. But in order to restore the original ways, action needs to be taken by those who are informed. ;) So no I don't see why you would consider me ignorant, it is your ignorance to assume that direct action is ignorant.

  • you make no sense. if your european are you going to go back to the ways of your ancestors in a second? europeans would only take showers like once in their life i dont think youve done that. so learn something dumbass.

  • No need to be hostile, but I guess you decided to insult me when all I'm just trying to do is have a helpful dialogue. No wonder your movement fails. Pushing away people who are on your side ain't wise. And no I'm not of european ancestry (white), you racist.

Not much has been made by indigenous to return to their old ways. Until indigenous forget about the capitalist dreams of the white invaders instead of fighting for their culture, the indigenous will continue to be second class citizens.

  • @silverbackman well said'

  • these arent all fo them. theyve veenn tmaking these iseris for 2006 to 210 thats like 4 years already?

  • Thank you for posting this series, very interesting. Much peace...

  • Stop listening to the Atlantis and Lemuria conspiracy theorists and listen to the real scholars. Egypt was conquered and Sumer was dust long before the Maya even thought about building cities or keeping records.

  • oh my god enough with this crap the maya number about 6,million today and there is evidence that the maya collapse is due to over population.

the sumerians have nothing to do with the maya.

  • preach

  • there was 3 mayan periods lol. they was talking about the collapse of the 2nd mayan period

  • pre classic classic and post classic

  • lol tfhe mayans never collapsed only the second mayan period did

  • lol what a retard ok so the classic maya of the lowlands were not mayan.

    sure what ever you say

  • if they aint mayans why call em mayans!

  • mayans is a word given to a number of diffrent native tribes that share dialects and culture and so fourth that live in southern mexico & central america.

around 800 Ad most of the citys such as tikal for example were left to be reclaimed by forrest most likely because of ecological problems and population growth that were not dealt with in the right way.

  • your talking about prehistoric dinosaur times?

  • Tribute To The Incas (video),check my channel .

  • Peter Weller is ROBOCOP you know?.. haha.. that was my Favourite when i was little.... but maybe some people here are aren't old enough to know what Robocop is... but Look it up :)

  • i fell asleep in class watching this lol

  • odd =/= idiotic. :/ they were simply different. i mean, if people of the past sees our culture where we would put needles in our body and get our body sliced up just to look thin and beautiful (especially the thin part, since a lot of past cultured considered a bit of fat to be breautiful), they would probably think us odd too. :/

  • this going to help me in my school homework :)

  • good ! :)

  • Peter Weller is COOL!

  • Yeah, Weller is definitely the best narrator for this type of documentary.

  • Very true. But as it is said, to each his own.

  • whats the ancestor of Cuba anyone know?

  • The Taíno and Ciboney.

  • thank you very much i mean it

  • My ancestors :))

    fuk yh :D

  • Ahuasca would work better when it comes to communicating with higher entities and gods :D.

  • brutal battle n human sacrifice...

what r they gonna say about the present in 1500 years... population control by promoting poisons (alcohol n many drugs) which in turn change our behavior that turn HUSBAND vs WIFE brother vs brother, street gangs fight one city block vs another, mass manipulation to have one country vs another, biological supression of real insite through food and water supplies, division and more wars through religionS-all kinds of shit.

  • it's the blind leading the blind brother. the sheeple will all be slaughtered.

be prepared for what's to come.

  • that's crap what you just wrote..!

  • wonder what theyd be like if they never got wiped out, we couldve gained so much knowledge from them.

  • they are still here, the thing is now they are vibrating in higher energy levels, got it??

  • I agree. And on a committed dose of shrooms u can commune with them. ;)

  • crap! they are gone

  • They built it without iron tools , OMG , they were genius . If they had had iron , they'd probably had attacked the Europeans first ...

  • theyre still around! do your research!

  • has there ever been such a thing as pure blood? theyre still around and thats the point

  • How did you know you comment was downed 4 before it was posted???? Magic!

  • If the Mayas had metal, then why didn't the Aztecs had it?

  • Tha Aztecs did have metal.

  • Peter Weller! He talks about Mayans!

  • Behold the Mayans did have metal tools, swords and wheels and even built boats, they simply lost this knowledge do to thier wars and famines because of pride and envy and disobedience to that being who gave them this knowledge to begin with.

    or mb not.

    Sir Demetrios

  • there are so many parts of that that make me wanna kick ur ass,,''BEHOLD i am sir demetrois!'' geez i bet u play alot of world of warcraft dont you?...just a wild guess ,right?

  • are you trying to explain aspects of pre=columbian meso-american culture filtiered through christian bullshit?

Go shove a mormon bible up your ass

  • How would the wheel be useful without beasts of burden? They actually did have wheels. But they didn't use it as Europeans/Asians/Indians did. The Tenochcas/Mayas constructed metropolises with no wheel, amazing right?

  • Strange, but true. The Incas used the Lama as a beast of burden, but the people of North America never domesticated the caribou like the Laplanders did. But then, they had no heavy cargo that needed hauling. The Mayans hauled a lot of stone, but like the Egyptians, they did it with manpower.

  • What are you talking about? There are NO credible Archaeologists who theorize anything but what the evidence suggests and genetics prove. EVERYONE (who matters) knows the Mayans, Egyptians, Chinese, Cambodians etc Built Pyramids, Not Atlanteans. Besides Foreign Archaeologists work with locals or are locals themselves. A true Archaeologist's loyalty is to exploring and preserving historical fact.

  • is there one on the incas their empire was bigger than the aztecs and the mayans

  • The Mayan had shoes, why are these people walking barefoot.

They didn't Pray to the "divine" it was honr and observation of how time moved.

THey didn't diappear just because. They was drought after heavy hurricanes. THere was no name of "gods" These archeologist are not getting it. Open you eyes.

  • What I don't like are Europeans or Americans touching those ancient treasures. They steal a lot of artifacts. They should be banned from doing archeological excavations there.

  • In Mexico is very difficult for them to get persmission. They have kept most of their archeological fundings

  • You're the ignorant shit. In Mexico there's the INHA, which has trained archeologists. There's many universities that'll be happy to conduct the research. I don't mind the honest foreigners, I have a problem with the ones taking the jade masks, etc. out of the country. How would the feel if mexicans took artifacts out of Stonehenge, you fucking moron?

  • Mexicans are fully allowed to study and excavate European ruins. Egyptian Mummies, Roman Statues, Chinese Imperial Jade, etc is displayed in museums all over the world. Collections are formed and they go on tour. It is not at all like how the black market works. An Archaeologist simply does not take something. All items are LOANED from local authorities.

  • Better to have trained Archaeologists, digging, finding, sorting, cataloging and eventually displaying cities and artifacts than looters, who destroy vital information and "worthless" objects, just to find gold to sell on the black market.

  • This video is bad ass. I love all the information about Tikal's conquests.

  • 1) the maya did not vanish (they still live in mexico, guatemala, belize, honduras and el salvador

    2) They did not span the contient, just meso-america (Incas and Mayas are not the same thing)

    3) There is no evidence at all of any kind of super natural influences... they were just freaking smart...

come on people! yea they are awsome, but try to use your heads.

  • of course they didnt vanish u Ignorant shit their empire vanished no duhh they are alive they just dont have an empire dumb ass.

  • thank you for posting this.still amazing how they vanished from history such a great civilization in the human history.

  • I love it =) Thanks for posting!!

  • thanks for sharing this video, God bless u and your family

  • You're welcome, same to you. I will be posting others of this type later.
