  • I have a stock '89. How loud is this during everyday cruising? I wouldn't want a visit from the po-po over it.

  • @dukeallen2001 Its not that loud. It is an alternative to doing a complete cat-back and provides you with a noticably more aggressive deep tone over stock.

  • was anything else done to this besides the muffler?

  • @NickFSherman No, the car is completely stock.

  • do you guys make the violator system for a 1994 corvette? my buddy has one on his mustang and its the perfect sound level with no drone and i'd like to get one for my 94 vette

  • @DJBanash I am sorry but we do not.

  • hi, I was wondering if there is a droning niose inside the car, I have a C4/1989 an want to have a deep rumble, thanks

  • @jrgonz1979

There is some drone at a cruising RPM. Our crossmember back kit does not drone and still has an aggressive tone and boosts performance.

  • No, I am sorry we do not offer a header for C4 Corvettes.

  • @PypesExhaust so all that is on there is the stock exhaust manifolds and then your system?

  • do you have headers?

  • Sounds Great!!! Corvettes are amazing!!!

  • i just got an 89 today How do u guys think true duals no cat 3inch w/ headers would sound

  • @j21hustlin

How much power are you making?

  • @j21hustlin i think really good and really loud, i am getting long tube heddars and an h pipe installed with muffler and cat delete. you dont really need 3in unless you have a lot of horses

  • @j21hustlin Way cool. I used to own an 89. I wouldn't go with a 3in unless you are making a good amount of power over stock. Stick with a 2.5in. Also, my exhaust sounded freakin sweat, here is what I had. High flow cats up front, (front Y) Magnaflow Cat, no mufflers on the rear Y portion. Sounded really great, and surprisingly not too much drone. I got a pretty good pickup in power, and it still passed emissions (CA).

  • I have a 1989 vette, its a long shot but are you in texas or if not does your shop have a website

  • This = Win

    Sounds great man :D

  • oh ok.

  • thats bad ass. im planing to buy one for about 5000-7000. My Second All-American car! hm Do you know what MPG for these Corvettes?

  • Sorry, this is a customers car.

  • @SuperDwang 18 if your lucky in town but mid 20's at highway speed

  • @SuperDwang 17 to 23 depending on if I can keep my foot out of it. I cant. Mine is stock 1989.

  • @SuperDwang If they're tuned-up expect upwards of 30mpg highway and high teens low 20s city. I have an automatic with 2.73 final drive and I've gotten 28 on road trips.

  • @SuperDwang I daily drive an '88. I average about 14-15. ~22-26 highway, depending on the wind direction and slope of the road.

  • Nice! I always loved the crackle of mufflers like these.

  • dude!!!!!!!! sweet, go american muscle

  • You keep the cat on? If so what kind?

  • This car still has the factory catalytic converters.
