very nice, i'm working on doing a remix of ff6 decisive battle from scratch ^^

The instruments are really unrealistic. It sounds like you took the MIDI and used a sequencer to change the instruments.

Sorry, but this is a long way from a real orchestral arrangement.

Pretty old work, year's 2009. I don't use Edirol anymore, of course the quality of them are pretty good, but not reeaally realistic. Nowdays I'm using Philharmonik and trying to get much more quality out of these songs.

I think it is flawless done and I think that your really talented if you did this by ear from scratch. The only issue is the sounds. But i think you work with what you have right? I got miroslav philharmonik and its cheap and has pretty decent orchestra sounds. i posted my cover as a video response if u wanna see.

If you're working on FL8,

I'd considering listening to the original and trying to incorporate some of the sounds which didn't make it into the midi file.

The low metallic percussion sounds etc.

Well, how I could explain it, well you need to know notes for song you're remixing, then select right instruments and do little mixing and that's it, and it's lovely to upload them to youtube and see all feedback, so great ^_^, I'm really glad that you enjoy my remixes ^-^
