If you want a Noble Prize then disprove anthropromorphic global warming, it's there for the taking. Don't tell us that it's been colder in your back yard this past decade, that won't do! Yes, China, India and Brazil, along with other emerging economies are a concern in their increasing use of fossil fuels, but this is a global issue in which the US has to play its full part in resolving, which means change for us all. Sieze the opportunity the US has the technology and manufacturing capacity above any other nation. But lifestyles have to change also for western economies. I think Tim Bishop a reasoned guy, who gave me some hope for the USs participation.

The issue for me isn't whether Global Warming is real or if it is caused by humans. I'm an environmentalist and think we should stop trashing our resources, whether it is causing great , little or no harm.

I'm AGAINST Cap and Trade because it is another tax for overtaxed consumers. The folks rich enough to get in the Cap and Trade market are powerful enough to pass on that cost so they keep their mansions and yachts.

It's a tax on CARBON, the stuff of which WE are made. What's next? Oxygen?
