Amazing... say out loud that you only want to believe (and be controlled by) things that can be reasonably demonstrated in reality and faith bound ideological bigots go right out of their skulls trying to make you into some kind of a faith bound ideological bigot. Projection. Of course, I'm referring to the wonderful discussions here in the comments section.
The foolish Christian asked the Muslim, but how do you know Moohammad is the true prophet? But he did not wait for the answer. Hmm wow, this proves Islam no doubt. Try to use rationality/reason/logic to justify your religion, not quotes that do not apply. The quote implies that those who don't believe/follow Christianity, never try to look for the truth.
@TurboDally ...I'm just repeating what the the book says, what a person believes is up to him. Islam is a religion that was manufactured by Rome, as is most of Christianity today.
You're repeating what the book says because dishonestly implying that only followers of Jesus truly seek the truth is a way in which you seek to discredit any skepticism/rejection of your belief.
My point still stands, you post your comment to dishonestly imply that only followers of Jesus truly seek the truth. Good luck with deluding yoruself, if it comforts you to believe this, then what you do is your business.
@TurboDally ...The implication is that truth is found in the book rather than the bong, society has hatched a new contingent of spritual alchemists as that is the root of Naturalism...so who is deluding who?
@ Nirmuktavideos Nonsense, All meaning is subjective, yet the culture carries what is of value not only to the next generation, but today globally, whether that meaning is up held by another culture would depend upon its collective population, and the individual subjective evaluations of that given collective.
So what your saying is that we humans do not have souls? How would we have feelings with out a soul? And science has proven that their had to have been a god in order for creation to happen.
@1Femme1Stud but where is this creation you are talking about? all we see is natural formation not divaine creation. you give us no prof, no system how it whuld work. universe is natural and nature is above everything bechose nature is everything.
well when I say creation I am refering to existence & the things which we may call life & "matter" in both its concrete & abstract forms. Some may call it nature. For me, they are all the same, & the Creator is the force that caused their existence. Ummm but I see what you are saying... is existence a creation? Well by what other means would anything exist? Other than that something came from nothing or that something came from an invisible thing, or that something always existed...
Ah but I see you are engaging in a fallacy then, just because we dont know how existence exists, then it does not mean we can throw our boots and believe anything we want.
I do not know how the universe came about, so I dont take a position on it I leave it an open Question.
and for me Questioning the validity of your idea that Creators create everything, does not require me being able to answer the Question. Dont shoot the ball over to me, you have it!

This video makes it sound like to be a naturalist you need to be a determinist.

The discussion of eternal life is exclusively a life activity, and thereby irrelevant to any effect it's understanding may have.

@TheCalifornian
That presupposes that the quest for understanding is not a "life activity". I reject that presupposition.

We got brains, that's why we can have feelings.
Also, you might want to read the Wikipedia entry about "Falsifiability".

And creation itself is proof that God exists.

@gooddarkjedi Therefore nature is for you what God is for me.

@1Femme1Stud
*cough* No its not!
But even if we were to rationally think that "existence" was a "creation" it have to be certain.
And I dont think you hold that kind of certainty or can prove it to others either.
