  • The last incarnation of Van Halen Eddie says LOL!

  • Gary was a brother for one album. I would do it.

  • if you watch the video of the boy who gets up to sing with VH, Ed tells him he only has one pick because he throws them out to the audience. Which makes 4:14 all the more hilarious

  • "Is this the last incarnation of Van Halen"? Until we fire this guy, yup!

  • That dude at 1:12 is the fuckin' man! "Uhhh, yes I prefer Dave, thank you!"

  • Ha. The reporter fell for their "cuddly" image. They were fucking and drugging their way around the world.

And Eddie - last reincarnation of VH??? Ha!!!!

  • Hmmm, 2:32 apparently not.

  • 2:13 Trollface!!

  • It's really funny that the guy at 0:03 has the EXACT same hair Eddie would have exactly a decade later!

  • @ZebStrype

Eddie had his hair like that for the Balance era...

  • Great clip !! And no'ones wearing shades. The lady was dam priveledged to play his guitar.

  • VH III !! i don't care if a lot of people don't like them. Beautiful music!

  • what is that at 10 and a half seconds? lol

  • yup you cant "peak" twice...rarely

  • geez that dude sounded bad on vocals

  • Gary who??? yeah that's right he was in and out...

Not on the same caliber as Van Halen...he actually made them sound really bad doing the VH classic tunes.

  • REPORTER: "Is this the very last incarnation of Van Halen?"

    EDDIE: "Yes"

Well, after Gary left, Sammy came back, then left and now David's back (a second time)...

  • Sad to see this now, when you see the state Eddie is in now.

  • You are really not a bunch of goof balls when you are performing, and don't think that way about your group...you still need to do inspiring things and live the life in the convertible at the beach like you used to do, eh??

  • Gary Cherone once said in an interview he wished that they had toured before ever recording an album....tour big and small venues etc..Said it would have been an opportunity to really get a feel for each other, bond as a band etc. Probably true, but VHIII as an album should have never had someone like Mike Post producing it. Better yet, Eddie should have just made it a solo album for himself. Big fan of VH but it is not cool what he did to Mike and Sammy

  • @LongDrivesAtNight what did he do to mike and sammy? you mean firing them or was there some money /legal stuff going on?

  • @vajraloka1 According to Sammy's book, which many die hard VH fans for years including myself didn't know, Mike was a "hired musician" in VH, was never considered to be a real part of VH. The 2004 reunion tour, Mike was never fully paid what he was owed. Then Mike wasn't even called about the DLR reunion..just found out like the rest of us that Eddie was making his son the new bassist. As for Sammy, well we all know Eddie told him goodbye.

  • @LongDrivesAtNight OH OK, well i always prefere lee roth but hope he mkes it right for all of them, i gootta get me some rocker biographies, i reac claptons but neeed to read keith richards and maybe some gnr bio

  • @LongDrivesAtNight ahh- i see -gotcha thanks..

  • That newsreader is a babe

  • Liar Liar....Val's reveal all book says you were fucking around with a lot of women. Oh well what are you gonna do?

  • They look like they are having a great time!

  • nice video ! thanks for posting it !

  • haha the last incarnation of van halen (eddie has a sort of cautious face) ...yes

  • Never saw that before, awesome find. Wolfgang with single coils is awesome.

  • ed is the king of electric RR guitar-period.
