People always have the wrong idea with pits. They are loving and can be train. Hell some are even lazy. If you think its wrong that he is rough housing with him in the video, pits love that kind of play because they have a high tolerance to pain. Its just sad that most people think this breed is "Evil" I'm buying my first "Blue Nose" this month. Can't wait!

Please quit breeding these Pitbulls. I love them, but 70% of the dogs euthenized in shelters are Pitbulls. Let's do the math... 5 million dogs are put down every year, over 3 million are pitbulls. Please quit contributing to the problem. There are too many already.

I would love to own a pit like this. I get so mad thinking about how misunderstood they are. Well I'm not some pit hater ect..I love the dogs to death. This is how dogs play with each other and you can train your dog how to roughhouse with people (ie no biting, jumping etc.) without hurting them. All dogs like playing like this, not just pitbulls. You don't seem to be a dog owner or know anything about their behavior.
@Fletchro Damn right. I played with my lab like this (at least until he got older and his arthritis started getting bad.) It's one of the things I like about larger breeds, you can roughhouse without hurting them. Long as you teach them from an early age not to nip, it's fine.
Pits Jaws Don't Lock.... There is no research that proves that. Their jaws are Just like the jaws of a German Shepard, Brittany Spaniel, Great dane etc. The only reason their bite is so lethal is because they possess stronger muscles in their jaws. That couple with a thier wide muzzles is what makes them dangerous. I'm pretty upset that you would say you love these dogs, but you actually believe in that Myth. There's no such thing as "Locking Jaws".
I wish I could play like this with my pit. Her previous owners abused her and put her in dog fights so she's kinda on the scared side (even after 2 years). But whenever I try and ruffhouse with her puppy, she gets jealous of her own son, so...
Its funny how people respond when they know nothing about the breed. My Pits love to cuddle and lay under people, which is how most of them are. My friends didn't know or understand that until they would visit my house or would dog-sit for me. Now they love them more than I do I think! I'm changing the stereotype one person at a time =)

pits are the best dogs. If you raise them right, you will never had problems. They listen to their owners no matter what. And there is nothing wrong with this kind of play. Pits in general play ruff with each other, that does not mean bitting and ripping stuff off. This is a good owner who is giving his time to his dog.

I noticed the uploader said his dog doesn't move like that anymore. The dog is 6 years old and though that is entering senior.. the dog should still have all of his mobility. That is an American Bully which are especially prone to hip dysplasia but still. Well hopefully he's okay. Cute video :)

Guys and families whove been breeding and producing great dogs for decades and even centuries(such as the Colby's). They arent going anywhere any time soon. I cant keep my blue nose puppy were I live because of personal lanlord issues but because I love this animal so much im willing to move out soon to another place just to have the time and place to enjoy this animal.ive always been a dog lover and if now aint the time to have a puppy then I never will be able to.I dont intent to fight my dog ever either.I will want to mate him and enjoy watching his litter blossom..these animals are truly outstanding companions..I trust in them more than some ppl

Guys and families whove been breeding and producing great dogs for decades and even centuries(such as the Colby's). They arent going anywhere any time soon. The problem with this breed of dogs is not only the media...but some of the irresponsible owners and breeders as well. The wrong people breeding untested/unproven dogs and selling them to irresponsible owners is the biggest problem with these dogs!

I cant keep my blue nose puppy were I live because of personal lanlord issues but because I love this animal so much im willing to move out soon to another place just to have the time and place to enjoy this animal.ive always been a dog lover and if now aint the time to have a puppy then I never will be able to.I dont intent to fight my dog ever either.I will want to mate him and enjoy watching his litter blossom..these animals are truly outstanding companions..I trust in them more than some ppl

i will never ever cut the ears off of my dog..thats what they use for balance and of course target detection.And I will try my hardest to try and always keep a harness on him instead of a collar around his neck which chokes the dog..I just bought me a blue nose puppy 4 weeks old..grey coat with slight hint of brendil coming thru the grey of his coat...he is a beauty..your dog looks very nice even for his age he looks very well developed..I love these dogs so much i mean there amazing to me.
