Chloe deserved the lead no doubt. She is tall, beautiful and a great dancer. She has a face like an Angel. The look on Melissa's face was priceless and Maddie's interview showed she was devastated.she looked like she wanted to cry!

Yeah, the song is reminiscent of Katy Perry's "Firework". Certainly it's only famous because it's a tie-in to "Dance Moms". And sure Chloe was picked in advance as the lead in the video as part of the story arc in the series of her as the underdog finally getting her due recognition...

BUT, I love that the song is about remembering what it's like when summer vacation comes, and you're free. You don't really ever get to feel that way again when you're grown up.

Not to burst anyone's bubble, but here's my opinion:

I believe Chloe was NOT pre-determined from the start. First, Chloe had the same hair as Lux in the beginning bcuz Chloe n Paige switched hairstyles in da makeover (mostly). The Abby Lee Dance Crew also performed strong in da auditions 4 the music video bcuz sum children like the boy behind Chloe in da audition, messed up on the dance part. Last if it was pre-determined the producer would've chose btween Paige n Chloe n not Maddie. Nuff said.

When the girls first got the first set of hair styles everyone had a completely different makeover then what ended up being used. I think "Seven" saw the girls (in the pictures the hairstylist took) and said "Okay, put chloe in this hairsyle/clothes"........ Why is it so coincidental that Chloe was wearing similar clothes like Lux's too? By the way, I think originally they were all trying to get a spot for

@ChezFeroce i think it was either edited out of order(wich happens a lot) or they had it pre determined, but the girls didnt know it, bc chloes reaction seemed legit, haha, but the producers of dance moms probably asked them to have a "deliberating" session to be filmed and asked them to pin maddie against chloe just for the show, they needed the drama, it was probably originally between chloe and paige loll your so right though with the hair thing!!!

I think Chloe was really the best dancer for this video. Although Maddie was the strongest dancer, music videos don't really need THAT strong a dancer. Plus, although Maddie is talented, she is really short and she dosn't have "the look" for hollywood. Chloe is taller and she has more of the "look." It's not really about the talent anyways in Hollywood. Maddie would be good as a professional dancer in musicals, or on stage, but i think Chhloe would get more jobs in Hollywood that Maddie.
