Teenage pregnancy is rampant because these girls in poverty don't have better alternatives such as education and/or jobs for themselves or a future with a boy from their village with education and/or a job. With a bleak financial future they might as well have a baby to give their life purpose. The education and job problems are the source of the baby problem. The baby problem is a symptom.
