I saw his Broadway show too, last night. Loved loved loved it! yes, he does this medley and has more room to move around and dance. He intros it by saying he's making another X Men movie and has to bulk up to play Wolverine, but dancing takes off too much weight! Then he proceeds to this awesome dance number.
