@AteenJoy13 they balance out the chocolate so it isn't too sweet or overpowering, but it combines nicely with the meat. the richness of the chocolate makes a good sauce for gamey meats.

mchan2048: Speaking of that--is it just me, or does it seem like whenever Morimoto is one of the chefs slated to fight, they usually have a Japanese judge on the panel?

I'm guessing they do that (if they do it) to counteract any bias from judges used to more Western food.

i think bobby needs to go...he takes himself far too seriously for this show...the others are competitive but cheerfully so, especially mike symon, i have yet to see an epi of ICA where he ISN"T smiling away :)
