If your not rubbing your not racing..... It sure seems you could have pushed more into the turn, you had plenty of traction to carry it even dipping into the grass.
True enough that I could have waited, but once commited it could of had horrible consequences from lifting or braking as this is a mid engined car and also this was almost the start of the race and there were others behind me. Sometimes we pass 12 cars A LAP, so being cautious is always a requirement. I thought he saw me, but I guess he didn't and I just did what I needed to to avoid an incident.
even though it was the firebird's fault for cutting off your line, i think that was exceptionally reckless of you to endanger your race, your life, his race and his life, both your cars, by diving down the inside through the grass which I thought for sure would send you off loose. you could have easily backed off and had a miles worth of strait to pass him easily again without pulling such a move so early into the race. now, if you were already committed and had to, then okay i get it.
@thatoneguyjosh I didn't say he had to break, He could have just let off slightly and moved over to the right, or stayed behind the firebird, many options. he just passed the red car at a high rate of speed easily i doubt it was close behind him.

@KuostA split second reaction time i think he did very well...maybe the other car was right behind him and breaking would have caused a wreck
