@mantomoe I bought a 2nd gen version of the Tercel for $200 last year. Others I've seen (including the new gens like that one) are not usually priced more than $1,000 here, if even that much.
The one I bought had 192k miles on it, and it kept going with very little maintenance (4WD even :) ) until I wrecked it at 218k the same year. Certainly nothing like my Sunbird (I've dumped $1,500 total into that car).
good times, only a tercel could withstand that sort of beating and live to tell the late to some extent ;)
it was obviously running on 2 or 3 cylinders at the time, why wasn't any effort made to try and make it run on all four? Oh, and did you guys cut the exhaust off, or did ya buy it like that? :)
