  • i have heard that the light gun for the odyssey only works on the magnavox brand televisions. is that true or will it work on other televisions like sony or other brand tvs.

  • Interesting that you should say that, because supposedly that was a rumor back in the day these things were being sold by salesmen in Magnavox retail outlets. It isn't true, though. The TV it's working on is actually a Sony and it would also work on a bare lightbulb.
