i think for the irish fans this victory (on penalties,because after 120 minutes was a draw 0-0) was like for us (romanians) beating England twice (World Cup 1998 in France 2-1 ,or Euro 2000 again with 3-2)... but the best result for Romania in final tournaments was in 1994 (world cup 1994) when Hagi and co. eliminated Argentina with 3-2 ... beautiful nights-- chanting and drinking in the streets all night long !!!
