The Old Testament is a great model for developing civilization. Adding New Testament principles (a better covenant) makes the formation of a government or community even better. Praise the Lord!
Let us not forget how Jacob sought Rachel: Homogeneity develops race; Diversity or Esau irreligion destroys it! We are living in apostate times. Abraham Lincoln promoted homogeneity and so did early Americans.
Don't let Hollywood, destructive, miscegenation propaganda deceive you.
Although I do not suppose the Law is done away with, I believe its role is to convict the unrighteous of their sin and not as a rule for those who have recieved new life in Christ, for whom there is a new law? (See Romans, Hebrews) I do not think it is right to use the Old Testament as an example of racial segregation or sticking close to your genetic pattern.
I agree that this is what Christian young men as well as young women (young women should be looking for believing, virgin young men too) should be doing. however, I believe it as more a guideline and not a strict rule. Because if followed strictly, unmarried non-virgins have no business of being alive according to the Bible.
That is incorrect. So His people would put "evil" or immorality from them, God delivered and established prevention-of-unchastity laws and strict penalties for not adhering to such. However, the New Testament does not promote the death penalty. Read my sermon "Illusion".
