@edslides MGM. Tom and Jerry posted almost the exact same thing at the exact year. Except Tom and Jerry was the one who received the best cartoon award... (random). They sued each other for copyright and they were all super suspicious of Technicolor. (Search "The cat concerto"). This was made by Franz Liszt (Did I spell that right?), called Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2. :)

I believed that Tom and Jerry took this from Bugs Bunny and here is why. Bugs Bunny named the composer during the cartoon. To me, that tells me that Warner Brothers took the time and researched the composer and recognized him. I could be wrong but they actually named the composer, Franz Liszt.

Just because it was made first doesn't mean that this came out before the Tom and Jerry short. There was actually a mutual plagiarism lawsuit because they came out at virtually the same time the Tom and Jerry first to be precise. before you open your mouth, know your facts.
