if u watch the fight it was gsp's left eye that was badly hurt. this vid only shows him being slapped. look at 0:15 if that was an eye poke sheild's would have had his entire finger in gsp's eye. he was punched in his left eye a couple of times, that's what cause the damage to gsp's eye.
So, GSP gets hassled for not finishing Koscheck when Koscheck could only see out of one eye... but he also gets hassled for not finishing Shields when GSP could only see out of one eye... that makes sense.
