i love the upgraded handgun. getting the headshots is so cool, plus, it's my favourite weapon in the game.

@Forest738 I think it's a matter of preference. I prefer to use the one in the video. But the other 3 are good as well too. This one has a chance to get more head shot than the others. The Punisher gun has bullets that go through enemies, the Blacktail has superb firing rate and the one that Luis is using does the most damage.

I'm currently playing Resident Evil 4 WITHOUT upgrading the handgun. It's knife and handgun only, and I've gotten through the maze in the castle so far...

Dudes if you want to finish resi 4 using one handgun only, I suggest that you carry an extra unloaded handgun. Having an empty gun in your inventory increases your chances of getting more bullets for that type of gun.

Wii edition is just as challenging as ps2 edition. Its just a matter of controls... and the ps2 controls were kinda hard to execute... the gamecubes wasnt.

I agree - though I've never played GC version, so I didn't know there's a difference between GC & PS2 controls.

I find Wii's nunchuk (Leon's movement)is not very responsive compared with PS2 controls, and when using 'scope' it's not as accurate as PS2.

The best thing about Wii version is Mercenaries, especially when you execute special attacks. I can't never get enough of Hunk, it's just too fun.

All in all, I've played PS2 for so long & I find Wii version has revived the game for me, particularly when I'm analysing weapons as you can feel the difference.

The cabin fight is very easy if you know what you're doing. Don't get surrounded, help Luis out so he helps you, and when on top, knock down the ladders ASAP.

This is Leon's original handgun & it's been upgraded to the exclusive so it has 5x chance of critical headshots

Yes you'll get an exclusive once you max up & a bullet will go through 5 enemies at once ^^

I'd say Handgun exclusive in the long run if you wanna choose between the two as you don't get many chances to get the foes lined up... (and Punisher's power is the weakest of all)

If you really wanna conserve bullets, the Red9 is the best as it can blow up enemy's head at one go & it saves lots of ammo!

And yes, it's the Wii version.

Ok thanks. Red9 huh? How 'bout killer7? After I defeated salazar I was so low on bullets that I had no choice but to repeat the game and conserver the rocket launcher. Im playing the PS2 version, will I get the same result on exclusive weapons?

Killer 7 is a magnum so you'll only get ammo later in the game, while the Red9 is almost like a magnum even though it's a handgun against normal enemies... But for Boss fight, yeah, it's more effective to use more powerful weapons.

Yes, PS2 version will have same exclusives as Wii version ^^
