so why are their cards blank on the back?

they are using sleeves.

basicly their to do two things,

cover the back of the card so neitehr player can see the back of their cards. shuffling non sleeved cards can be counted as cheating. (small amrkes ect.)

also, i find it easier to shuffle :D

Boros is red and white, featuring white wheenies, and spells like lightning helix, shock, incinerate ect.
