  • I'd quit eating junk like chocolate and burgers. Eat well balanced healthy meals and your insides won't have to be flushed with these invasive gimmicks.

  • I'd really like to cleanse my colon... how many drinks do you take a day, and how long until you start seeing (or feeling) results?

  • If anyone is looking for bentonite that is pesticide free, I have found a wonderful site called blessed herbs. It is a mom and pop site which is the best cleanse i have found, and all herbs and items offered are clearly stated where they are from! Hope it helps! About to start a bentonite, charcoal, psyllium and herbs detox!

  • Colonic hydrotherapy sessions can be expensive though so now I take OxyPowder instead, which makes me feel the same benefit as colonics do, you can literally feel it working in your colon. Also I have heard that psyllium can contain lots of toxins if grown in china or india, so although it's really effective, I'm just gonna stick with the OxyPowder, which dissolves colon plaque with oxygen, instead of scraping it away like psyllium does.

  • I had a series of 5 colonic hydro cleanses, & ate lots of raw garlic (chopped fine, mixed in mashed potato - garlic kills worms), after the 4th cleanse I took psyllium with plenty of water & fasted for a few days, the results were amazing: I had an outer layer of colon plaque wrapped around the psyllium (psyllium is easy to tell apart cos it looks like sawdust), at closer inspection the plaque was made of hundreds of inter-woven dead worms. After that a chunky translucent yellow worm on its own.

  • Wow! I bet you are glad you got those worms out of your body! IT is stories like these that inspire me to try again. You also mention Oxypowder which I may check out. You make a good point about psyllium grown in China and India may be exposed to chemicals...for those who want to still with psyllium, I bet there is some grown in the US.

  • @researchfiend If you find some grown in the US please let me know 'cos I'd like to use psyllium again sometime but only if its free of toxins. A great way to do it would be to take ghc's oxypowder for a while to break up the colon plaque, then psyllium along with it to scrape the loosened plaque out even more, if you fast for a few days at this point, you should see the plaque wrapped around the psyllium stool..

  • I use this stuff at my work. Its an additive we use in tile made of ground shale. It helps to prevent stress cracks in the tile. I can't believe people are eating it. Its very drying on your skin and can only imagine what it does to your insides. Nasty.

  • Should one fail to hydrate their food grade bentonite clay, constipation will ensue! We can assume this is food grade rather than for industrial use.

As for what people eat, let us look the average westerners' consumption of junk food: our consumption of oils which are really plastics interfering with hormones, flavor additives causing fermaldehyde in the brain and blindness (asperteme), and so on. Here we are trying to be healthy by detoxing.

  • @researchfiend Food grade dirt? Seriously? Now I've heard it all.

  • @linuxguy2009 people have been eating clay since time began, animals too! sucks out heavy metals and toxins in the body and also through the skin. Taking a bath in it or even a foot bath will pull out toxins. just have to have the right kind of clay!

  • @linuxguy2009 You are using Sodium Bentonite Clay at your work..This is Calcium Bentonite clay being used internally..Big difference!

  • @smasherhits Thank yoy for specifying linuxguy2009!

  • is this clay good for ibs or paulops in the bowel

  • Hello northllstr,

One must be careful when doing a cleanse. It is critical to listen to your body's reaction. If you are seriously ill or allergic to psyllium, this could make things worse.

If healthy folks experience pain, stop drinking the shakes, hydrate and take broths until balance is restored.

The clay (soaked 24 hours b4 consumption) is said to absorb toxins.

  • Remember to keep hydrated before, during and after. One can forget to make adjustments with drastic changes in the the weather such as sudden heat or even when it is wintertime and cold and dry. I got myself into digestive discomfort with that situation last fall.

  • @northllstr Bentonite clay cleanses are good for problems with the bowel however, it could cause constipation if you are dehydrated, so drink lots of water and have soups and broths when cleansing.

  • I don't have any links to what I posted, but the information is sound and credible. research it for yourself

  • when the body fasts it goes through an extreme cleansing process where all of the bad cells are gathered and expelled from the body. the quickest way out is from the tongue. hence--bad breath. the body tries to maintain an alkaline ph. many foods we eat make our ph acidic. Oranges and many other fruit are acidic. water is naturally alkaline. basically, your body rids itself of disease and acids that build up over time. when your body has an alkaline ph that is when you feel better.

  • @soq12 I wonder if that is why oil pulling - using olive or coconut oil as a mouth wash might be so healing.

  • @soq12 oranges and lemons are acidic until you eat them then they turn into alkaline. Good for your body. You do the maffs !!!

  • I wanted to try this experiment--so I did some research. it turns out the viscera* is lined with a mucous membrane that prevents blockage of "mucoid plaque". the lining is so slippery that plaque can not embed itself to our intestines. the products you use for your cleanse is what is the mucoid plaque. the product does cleanse the intestines, BUT what comes out is a biproduct of the product. the whole thing is really a gimmick. the reality of why you lose wieght and feel better is b/c of fasting

  • @soq12 I have heard another person saying the bentonite clay is just mixing with water and coming out the same. The promoters of bentonite say that it absorbs toxins. The solution would be to analyze the remains and the person. Does a person have fewer measurable toxins after a P&B cleanse? I believe so and the science would be good to know.

  • I am doing the cleanse again and this time mainly consuming only liquids for the first two days, blended veggies day three and solid veggies and grains day 4. This is day four. I had some 80 % extra dark chocolate today and it was actually sweet.

  • Anger/Hostility = Congested Liver

Sometimes I get that way, too.

  • @researchfiend

what was the exact technique and ingredient that you used while performing this cleanse. and how long did it take

  • @MrManshenoy It is the standard Psyllium Husk and Hydrated Bentonite clay drink during a brief period of time. You can look it up online as I fail to remember the amounts. Remember to hydrate throughout the day and take some probiotics like miso, yogurt and/or acidophilus. I did this fast a couple times and got dizzy I think due to the depletion of intestinal flora and the the consequential low production of Vitamin B.

  • Thank u :) I first learnt about colon cleansing from a colonix website that charges 80$ 4 a one month supply! Its so much more cost effective 2 make our own.

How long do u plan on doing the colon cleanse, I read 4 first time cleansing its best to do 3 months & then 1 month every 6 months or every year for maintenance but I think I read somewhere its only safe 2 ingest clay 4 so long. google colonix testimonals & u can look at the herbs they use & add traces of them 2 your own colon cleanse mix.
