@100DarkDude John uses a Boss CE-1 Chorus Ensemble. They haven't made them in a long time. Good luck getting one at a decent price. Ebay is your friend.

@100DarkDude There is like 4 or 5 of them on ebay right now, but like I said they're not cheap. Just go to ebay and type in Boss CE-1 Chorus Ensemble and hit search. The ce-1 has two outputs one mono, one stereo. The ce-2 has one output, never saw one with two.

@100DarkDude It will work, just use the mono output. If your running it through a head/cab or a combo amp with more than one speaker, you'd want to use the stereo output.

(2) Flea is a lot more virtuositic than I had thought on the base.

Now, after having listened to him a lot here on Youtube, I am really impressed. He really is (was) a large part of group's sound. I understand that Californication is their biggest release and that Frusciante was responsible for a lot of the content on that album. He's pretty amazing.
