smaller bike (600's) my be able to beat larger bikes in tight corners but my cbr1000 will certainly whip any 600' s etc on the straights..... there is no replacement for displacement.

Its just a matter of weight... 250s are light bikes, and that is a thing you`ll notice mostly in corners. I had KTM 620 Supermoto ... and it was ultra light (123 kg = 271 pounds) with around 60 bhp ... You can guess what I did to larger bikes on a curvy road :) smoked them like it was a joke

Its also interesting how many stupid car drivers you have there :) They all hold on to left side of their lane. Here in Croatia, when someone sees a biker, they almost always move aside, or we make them :)
