According to the Van Halen Encyclopedia, they played a show in Madison, WI on July 3rd, 1984. There is no listing of a show in Madison from the 1980 tour. There was a show in Milwaukee on April 14th, 1980. After listening a 2nd time, i can hear Dave say Milwaukee in the beginning of the vid. Plus u can hear Dave intro "Loss of Control" at the very end. They wouldn't have played that song on the '84 tour. Do u have the rest of this show? I'd love to hear the other tunes.
@Liberty4UandMe Thanks for the info, I really appreciate it! I'll update the info on this video and really make sure to upload my other boots. I have only one more from this night, but since you went out of your way to post all of that, I'll go and get right on this!
I have this show as well, it's definitely 1980 ( I'm a bit of a VH fanatic). It can be hard to tell the correct date sometimes with bootlegs, that's for sure. But this was the usual opening to runnin with the devil from that tour. They did a lot of cool openings and changes that they never did again!
First concert I went to was this tour on Aug 12,1980 Bayfront Center St Pete. ROCK ON!

@vhlvr That's assuming the VH Encyclopedia is accurate. They could be totally wrong. Anyway, thanks for the reply.

I also don't know of a bootleg in 1980 that was recorded anywhere in WI.
