Unlike anyother RTS games Red Alert isn't about serious war. It's more wacky and silly in a fun way and that's what makes it unique. Fans really don't get that, they expect every RTS to be serious, dark and cool with cool realistic badass unit.

Tiberium is SUPPOSE to be serious without big robots, Red Alert is SUPPOSE to be not serious with wacky stuff.

They just want sequels of well-loved franchises to be rushed out so they can make more money. If you would check the concepts of the games you would see most represent much more amazing universes then even those famous ones like LotR. As I said it is not about laziness. Modellers just don't make random things out of their asses. There are people who tell them what to do, check it, and tell them to hurry hell up. And in the end, whole command of strings go up to publishers.
