@statebankof unfortunatelly you can't unless you take it to the service. there it will be opened to reprogram the mainboard to the corect time. the problem is you'll have to do this every few weeks or months if you want to keep up with windows. the downside is that after a few imes the mainboard will probably get damaged, so you'll have to pay for a new one, because the warranty doesn't cover it. which means you might aswell get a new watch and ditch the old piece.
I'm sure it's reliable and all that but casio have made a case that doesn't match the band to differentiate this from the PRX version which is much more expensive. That bugs me as the design doesn't look "integrated" and the bracelet looks like it was fitted aftermarket. I'd still prefer the PRW 1300 or wait for the new 2500T. The PRX range is a few hundred bucks too expensive. Not sure who buys a $1000+ Protrek even if the quality is good
I bought one of these 2 weeks ago after having one of Casio's first generation Protrek watches for 10 years or so, and I must say it's the best watch I've ever had.
The one thing that let down early watches was the regular (and expensive!) visits to the jewelers for new batteries (x2) Being a solar powered watch means all I have to do is let this watch sunbathe! Very good quality & excellent functions. It's very solidly built and you won't regret buying one, well worth the £200+ ($400+)
@theanvilcracks think the prw is the uk one pro trek and the paw is the usa one pathfinder.... only sayin this coz if u go onto both the us casio and the uk casio site there named differently but there the same shit :-/
The watch is amazing for money you gave.....I live in Serbia, and getting radio signal for the updates,When you buy a watch, you will get a small map where you can recieve updates...Anyway, watch is even more than I was expected!!! LONG LIVE CASIO :))
streamlined911; You have to push the pins in the direction of the arrows (I used a miniature screwdriver). Do it over a large towl on your table. Aside from the pin, there is a very small compression cylinder that the pin goes into. Don't lose it!
1200 is HUMONGOUS in comparison... and is EXTREMELY plasticky looking... And it can't show day of week and the full date... But generally, it's the same functionality...
7 homos don't have a Casio...

i dont see a big advantage of this model versus mi 1200 model.
only more slim
the bottons are metalic not plastic
and maybe the weight is less...
but it has the same functionality....right..????
