  • Bullocks to anyone who thinks this synth is lame: If so, why was it used by so many pros?

    Amazing board and brilliant demo

  • @AnalogAudio1 was that the J60's areggiator in the beginning seconds of the video?

  • @verve92 yes!

  • Great. Classic sounds.Very useful. I'd get one today but i only have £3.54.

  • the synth that revolutionised the 80s !

  • @dzlvs8 I think, your Polysix is not better ;-)

  • @AnalogAudio1 I have had 3 polysix's. They aren't that good. But they are way better than a juno 60. The polysix consistently sells for more too.....because it is a better synth. I sold my last polysix and now I just have a Yamaha CS-50 and I JUST got a prophet 08 for the 2nd time. Now those are aweseome synths.

But I would much rather hear you play ANYTHING before I would ever willingly listen to Retrosound72. That guy blows. His music is worse than mine by a long shot.

  • @dzlvs8 I have both, but I don't think one of them is better than the other. They are simply different, and sound is a matter of taste. Both have pros and cons. For sequences and basses, the Juno-60 is simply better. But the Polysix delivers the richer pads.

  • @AnalogAudio1 I see. As far as taste goes, Im not a big 80s guy and Junos sound way too 80's. Most polysynths are like that. Thats why I settled on a new prophet 08. And I guess I just use different instruments for bass lines and leads. post aome more videos of your gear. im getting sick of seeing so much Retrosound72.

  • @dzlvs8 Well if you don't like juno-60s or 80's synthesizers, why are you viewing them? I stay away from the things I don't like...

Something is telling me you must just loathe the polymoog. Which is one of the best synths in my opinion.

  • @AnalogAudio1 Actually, I've been able to create pads so rich on my JUNO-60 that the polysix couldn't even come close.

I'd be glad to PM you some samples if you're interested!

  • The arpeggio starting at 4:02 reminds me of Guru Josh - "Infinity 1990" and also of "Neverending story" by Limahl.

  • When are you making a JX-3P Demo ??

  • @TR0jAX I had one, but that was before YouTube came along...

  • @AnalogAudio1 Hmm.. i suggest you will need one ^^

  • Cool video and sound too! :)

  • @mummstylesound thanks :-)

  • Analog: I love your videos. The Juno 60 is my favorite sounding synth of all time. It's so simple, yet everything about it just sounds "right". Can someone please tell me once and for all if you can get the same sounds out of an MKS-50 or an Alpha Juno?? Thanks.

  • @audiotrax2000 thanks... the Alpha Juno is a different synth, which sounds different. But some sounds can be similar though.

  • 04:04 : Advice Synth

  • Great demo !

  • oh no... I'M HAVING A SYNTHASEIZURE!!!

  • 2 of my favorite synths there juno60 and arp odenessy :)

  • This is still one of my favorite synths of all time-

  • Super Soundbank, abseits der Werkssounds presentiert sich erst das volle Potential des Juno-60. Vielen Dank AnalogAudio1

  • this made me love my Juno even more

  • this sounds so badass :D

  • beautiful synthesizer sounds, thanks:)

  • Makes me miss my Juno-106 I had some years ago. The nerds will always bitch about 106 vs 60 who has the fattest sound blabla..I don't care, the sound is what the player makes. The 106 was like a miracle machine, every time I started doodling with the init patch, I made something awesome, then even more awesome from there etc. That noisy chorus is a godsend for synths.

  • sound huge, timeless !

  • Sounds perfect.Thanks.
