  • Ghz?

  • @Encrypto94 väldigt specifik fråga, men dessvärre blir nog svaret nej :)

  • @nablaman Damn it! :(

  • @tuning9988 haha ja faktiskt :)

  • Jäklar alltså, du är svensk :D

  • @northenswede Jajamensan, Zusie bor i Halland! :)

  • Do you think that a group of people with enough money, time and space to build a gigantic relay computer could reach todays processors computing power???

  • @Nesformers Nope :)

Relays are mechanical, so you have a huge propagation delay between input and output. That puts a limit on the switching speed of any relay circuit.

  • next project??? cell processor :D

  • true hacker!

  • I NEED MORE POWER, SCOTTY!

    Jävla underbar sak du har.

What is the max speed? Can it go any faster than this?

  • @Serostern Tack! =)

I think this is about the maximum speed, maybe a little faster. There are really five parameters that influence the speed: The master oscillator speed, the duty cycle of the master oscillator, and three time bases in the "pulse distributor" that are used for chopping up the main clock ticks into sub-ticks used by the microcode sequencer. So if you run the oscillator faster, you typically need to tweak the four other parameters to make it work in a stable way. Tedious but fun!

  • That was amazing!

  • @bootnecklad Thanks!

  • Something to be said about a computer which you can debug with your ears.

  • Congratulation!

  • Well, did it work? (it is a "test" after all)

  • @Esperantanaso Of course it did! :) You can see that it executes the same program with the same results as in the movie "Stack test", only faster

  • Well, did it work properly? (it is a "test", after all)

  • Wow thats fast, love the noise :D
