@GoldenDeathMusic: Ok, now let's translate: "I know, that you have to leave me, goodbye, goodbye, I am going to say goodbye, I know that you will leave me behind, goodbye, goodbye,I am going to say, I will swallow down my sadness, and I will smile and say, goodbye, goodbye..." (After that, she is repeating this again and again, at the end only whispering...) Hope, I could make you happy :-) Though this song is extremly sad... :-(
There exists a different version of the song recorded by SHIN JUNG-HYUN & THE MEN without the voice of KIM CHOO JA. It appears on the 1972 lp "Woman Of The Evening Sun" (translated title), the original title being "석양/안개속의 여인/아름다운 강산".
Ok, I found it out by myself. The song appears first on her 1973 lp "신중현 작곡집" (Universal Rec., KLS-78). The album in question not availble on cd yet. I didn't check if the song appeared on any cd compilation.
If I didn't get it wrong the title translates to "The Evening Sun".

What a dark and epic piece! And also the clip is amazingly brilliant. Thank you a lot for posting this. I guess this is definitely not taken from her 1969 debut with Shin Jung-Hyun!? Can anyone please tell me on which record this song has been published for the first time?
Ahhhh, like rain coming down in a drought. This is a korean treasure. Ms. Kim is unquestionably the supreme Korean psychadelic vocalist. Her talents are ever more astounding to me. Millions of joys you have given to us, many blessings to you, Ms. Kim. I worship you.
She is so spontaneous. I don't know of anybody who can sing like her today. They all dance well but lack soul. She was a little unlucky that Pearl Sisters was there too. I think many people (myslef and my father included)thought Pearl Sisters had looks!
didn't 장현 also record a version of this song? thanks soooo much for posting this. my father and i never really got along because he was always so stressed, but we finally bonded through his favorite music. discussing the old korean music brought us together.
When I was very little, I was just crazy about her. Well, I'm older now and rather jaded. It's wonderful that she still blows me away. Ms. Kim Chooja, wherever you are, thank you for your awesome kickassness.
And my thanks to orienkorean.
If you've got more of hers (besides Annyung & Sunset Beach), I sure would be very appreciative. Kim Chooja is GOLDEN.
