  • Older homes are a labor of love, but rewarding! I own a 130 year old colonial greek revival that has the same issues, plus additional foundation issues but will never give up on her. From the outside and interior, you would never know it had problems until you walked through the lower floors and felt the floor sag and lean slightly. Other than that, she is fully remodeled and also in a great location! Good luck with your project.

  • I am a licensed general contractor. I can help you. I have alot of experience working with older homes, most of which have settled and deterioriated to an extent. I look forward to challenges and have never had an unhappy customer.

If you have not found someone to fix your the problems mentioned in your video, give me a call or email me. Free consultation and maybe I can give you some ideas.

    Thanks,

  • @e23k90ds2 Oh man, you're a bit of a fool aren't you. The house is 100 years old and absolutely beautifully restored. I worked on this in my spare time for a year, spent maybe 5k on it, upgraded the heating system and replaced some of the floor joists, jacked it up and the sag in the floor is fixed. Then, I patched and restored the original maple floors above this . Now, after a little money and some work, I live in an awesome house in a fantastic location.
