And if a doctor denies you a procedure, i'm pretty sure the doctor knows best. If they see you need a procedure you'll most certainly get it, it's their job to provide it!

Regardless of age etc, you will get any treatment you need. NHS is there and paid for by everyone who earns a living in the UK. The money is taken via tax from every pay cheque before it's even handed to a UK citizen so we don't know how much it even is. This is why we get free healthcare.

As of yesterday morning I wasn't able to find the entire bill on thomas . gov. I was only able to find the bill as introduced before the amendments and mark ups.
I'd pick the "public option" but feel terrible about doing it. Even though I know it would lead to the complete takeover of the health care in this country and would bankrupt our economy and lead to watered down inferior health care which I'd have to ultimately pay more for in much higher taxes and which would also put millions of people on the government paycheck which would thus ensure loyal far left voters for life and lead our country down destructive socialism, I'd still get it anyway.
People will ultimately go with what they percieve to be the cheaper option even if it means they'll get inferior care and hurt the country and ultimately cost them far more in the long run. That's the reason why government run health care needs to abolished. Growing up in a military family I've seen first hard how terrible it is. Do you even live in the UK? To see a GP you must book an appointment and you usually go to see a GP for minor things like a cold, ear infection etc. And an appointment happens the same day usually or if fully booked [rare unless you call after 3pm] the next day at MAX! .
And if a doctor denies you a procedure, i'm pretty sure the doctor knows best. If they see you need a procedure you'll most certainly get it, it's their job to provide it!

Just smarter government. And just for fun, let's look at the past 20 years. The most prosperous economic expansion occured under Bill Clinton, not Bush, not Reagan. Regarding solutions to the nation's problems, what do you suggest? Getting rid of the FAA? Getting rid of the Federal Reserve? Getting rid of the FDA? Left unchecked, Wal Street will rob us blind. Let unchecked, the airlines will cut safety corners to save money. Left unchecked, ecolii would be turning up every day.

Prosperity under Clinton is laughable. The most prosperous period in the past 50+ years came under Reagan's administration. It's interesting that the departments you suggested cutting are key components of the infrastructure. How about instead we audit the welfare rolls, deport all the illegal aliens, abolish unions and get more serious dealing with hardened criminals and felons. Cutting off the Fed Rsv require a few prerequistes, so no, that couldn't be done right away.

The Government expanded, pubic debt tripled to $2.8 Trillion, over 10% unemployment rate due to the recession that took place 2 years into his presidency, average productivity 6.5%, below average growth 1.38%, and pay wages went down. He also bailed out banks in the Savings and Loan crisis. His foreign policy was horrible, see Iran/Contra and it was also confirmed that he had alzheimer's through most of his presidency.

If you want evidence that Fox News viewers are uneducated trash that have no idea what's going on in the World, just take a look at the April 15, 2007 Pew Research poll. The poll showed that Fox News viewers have the 2nd lowest knowledge rating vs. other media outlets. John Stewart and the Colbert report had the highest level. Maybe next time you should do a little research before you spew BS and likes (just like Fox News), this way you won't look like such an idiot.

I'd pick the "public option" but feel terrible about doing it. Even though I know it would lead to the complete takeover of the health care in this country and would bankrupt our economy and lead to watered down inferior health care which I'd have to ultimately pay more for in much higher taxes and which would also put millions of people on the government paycheck which would thus ensure loyal far left voters for life and lead our country down destructive socialism, I'd still get it anyway.

People will ultimately go with what they percieve to be the cheaper option even if it means they'll get inferior care and hurt the country and ultimately cost them far more in the long run. That's the reason why government run health care needs to abolished. Growing up in a military family I've seen first hard how terrible it is. Despite my father being a 25 year military veteran we always chose to pay for private health care becase it was so much superior to the "public option".

You need to read the exact quote or find it on Youtube from Anita Dunn. She merely acknowledged it as an arm of the Republican party--which it is. It organizes protests against a government's Democratic policies--which it does. No one contests Fox's right to exist. But it is foolish to regard it as a news network. And yes--opinion journalism is different than the level of bias of FOX. Hardly fascist.
