If you haven't read the whole Book of Mormon, I would encourage you to do so. and also read the Joseph Smith section at the back of The Pearl of Great Price, for I have read both and I know that they are true. Parents and friends want you to go to Church because they KNOW of the truth of the Gospel and they want you to experience it as well so that YOU can be happy for eternity as well.
