  • @dramacorey Thanks very much

  • @dramacorey I'll be posting a trailer for The Daleks tomorrow sub me if your interested.

  • I think Roy Stewart should have played Gan in Blake's seven, and he is the right height and build to play Gan.

  • This has got to be the best Cybermen story and Patrick Troughton story!

  • I think this vid is cool and super.

  • This vid is cool

  • lol, probably the creepiest line of this episode.

"You belong to us. You shall be(come) like us." Become sounds right, but I keep hearing 'be'. If you know for sure please tell me, I'm getting the DVD soon anyway.

  • @Jokie155 The Line is, as it is in the trail "You belong to us. You shall be like us." Its in the script book (I looked it up, i'm very sad! ) Thanks for the comment.

  • @cbatt91337 ok, so i was right the first time. weird how that works huh, especially since I seem to have a habit of hearing things wrong. Thanks for that, it's solved one of many puzzles in my life.

  • @Jokie155 Glad to be of assistance.

  • One of thee very best trailers on the tube.

  • @drwhomasterfan Thank you my friend very much appreciated

  • i do love this trailer - the soundtrack reminds me of Aliens! (i've never seen 'Fire in the Sky')

  • Good trailer. Got me wanting more.

  • @JojoChampion Thanks mate, more Dr Who trailers on my channel.

  • Like a black and white horror film

  • i loved this story and the trailer fits it perfectly

  • @TheHassanStudios Thank you very much im glad you enjoyed it.

  • A brilliant story apart from the silly and pointless Cybermats!

  • @randomdave30 I like the idea of the Cybermats as they could be very creepy like the face huggers in Alien in the right hands. I agree with you that they were pointless for this story but feel they were better used in Wheel in Space and Revenge of the Cybermen as they has a purpose. At the end of the day the only reason they were made in the first place was a shamefull marketing toy.

  • @cbatt91337 Really? It seems that even during its original run, back in the sixties, the show was not adverse to the odd gimmick. I always associate the infamous J-NT with gimmicky casting and ideas.

  • @randomdave30 The show was always looking for the next gimmick to make the BBC money and replace the Daleks (which the bbc only owned half of) as the main villian. The Cybermen are obvious examples but less obvious are the Quarks (yes the box things with legs). On screen the Doctor met them once but in TV comic the appeared in several adventures as someone thought they were marketable. Then the BBC fell out with there creators with copyright arguements and that was the end of that.

  • @cbatt91337 The Quarks were awful - like the Krotons! I would gladly scrifice those episodes to have The Abominable Snowmen, Fury From The Deep, Evil of the Daleks or The Web of Fear.

  • @randomdave30 Yeah so would I. The middle season of Pats reign looks amazing. Ive got the audios and lost in time dvd but its not the same. I just wish someone at the BBC would commission someone to animate it like they did with invasion. I know its not the same but its as close as we will get.

  • Comment removed

  • @cbatt91337 Chris I know what you're saying mate. But lets not Jump the Gun here! Yes the Invasion was.. Well... OK at Best! I hope if they DO Re-Create the Missing Episodes, it will be done with something in the FAR Future that will look an awful lot better. No WAY do I want the Evil, Power, Fury, Web, etc Looking anything as Static & Lifeless as the Invasion! And @the moment, Films & TV Series R just Crap because the haven't got a Balance yet. It's all Just CGI & Not Writting. 1 Day m8. 1day

  • @therealKINDLE Recons of any sort are not going to be perfect whether they are animated or not. The only way they are going to keep fans happy is if we actually find those missing episodes and im afraid that just isn't gonna happen. I think all things considered that they did a great job on the Invasion its as you have said far from perfection but it could have been phenominally worse you should see the shoddy cgi animation on the last Tennant "cartoon " just be glad that wasnt inflicted on it

  • @cbatt91337 Why do you ALWAYS have to bring the Show down with references to that crap of today?!! Thats like comparing Sean Connery Bond's to the Multi-Strobal Edited shit of Todays James Blonde. Which is just Awful. You can make ANYTHING seem ok by comapring it to New Hu! M8, if you see some of the CGI Pixar are capable of, THATS the kind of Animation I'm talking about! One day that Tech will be availible to the Public. And on that day, We shal see the Freckles on Patricks Kneck!

  • @therealKINDLE I'm not putting the show down at all. The point I was trying to make was it could have been a lot worse with the tech that the BBC can afford today. (and the stuff that the BBC are producing for Doctor Who is the best it can afford) I think that if even a Pixar - like company made an animated recon you would still find a way of putting it down. Like I said before its never going to be perfect, the only way fans are going to be satisfied is if they find the missing eps.

  • @cbatt91337 Mention the NEw series, & thats all it takes! It's like putting the Word Sofisticated in a sentence with the word "C*NT"! I WAS Saticefied with the Animation they did. But I want not to be merely Saticefied, I want to be WOWED! If it was Done properly, & was Clearly the Product of a lot of Careful thought, I wud appreciate it. Thats why I HATE the new Crap. NO Thought. NO Talent. NO Creativety. Just GREED. Was Verity Greedy? NO. She was Proud, Clever & had an unauthodox Vision. I<3VL

  • @cbatt91337

i really am astounded as to the negativity put towards The Invasion's animated episodes - I personally think they were done in a very tasteful manner, had tonnes of atmosphere and were far from "static" as described by @therealKINDLE here ....

  • are they make cybermen from humans

    like in the new series?

  • Yes but in the new series they just scoop out there brains and put them in cybermen bodies while in the old series they surgically turn your body into cybermen. eg replace limbs and various organs but also the operate on the brain to remove all emotions.

  • i think the old cybermen are a lot scarier

    and creepy

  • The old cybermen are 1000000000 times more creepy & interesting than the new ones. The new ones... !!! Puh! Oh lets all march shal we? Nonsense. It really hurts me to think that the best years of Dr Who are missing. Why could they have lost tapes from after Jon Pertwee's era instead?! Patrick has always been my favourite Doctor. Michael Kil Gareth did a fantastic job on Movement, Hawkins did a brilliant job on voices, & the set.. Amazing. I have the incidental music of this story if you want it.

  • @therealKINDLE

"Why could they have lost tapes from after Jon Pertwee's era instead?!"

I guarantee if they had, you'd be begging for losing Troughtons'!

  • @Birdieupon You don't get it do you? Dr Who was the Black & White avant-garde Sci-Fi series that ran from 1963-1969. The B&Ws were the BEST by FAR. All the Sounds, the FX, the Writting, The Acting, was ALL Ground-Breaking & Pioneered back then & it wasn't until it was made in Colour that the show started looking Dated.

Take The 1st Episode of the Mind Robber for example. There's NOT One bit of incidental Music in that episode. It's ALL BBCRW Sound FX & 3 People playing off each other. AMAZING.

  • @therealKINDLE ......The early Tom Baker stories are the best Dr Who there is.

  • @therealKINDLE so wait...your happy forthere to be gaps in Tom Baker's era?

  • @227060 Yes. Tom Baker took the easy way out.. To use humour & lets all just act funny. It's easy to ridicule or refuse to take something seriously. Tom resisted doing that only for a sort while. And yes, we had an amazing few seasons. But to take something so blatantly fake, so seriously is very hard indeed, & the Patrick Troughton era did that more than any other. Now it's all over-acting. But to get the balance right was their gift. They were the most sinister stories. And we've lost them...

  • @therealKINDLE ....do you know what....i completly disagree but you've actually restored a bit of faith in me. you've demonstrated the complete truth that not everyone, especially on this show, has the same opinion therefore we can enjoy what we enjoy. i really love Tom's stuff but he isn't my fav but seeing you and your opinion of the alleged best doctor has made me feel a bit better. so thanks, hope they find the missing stories (or get to animating them soon)

  • Great!

  • oh UUUU beeeloong tooo uzzzzzzz scarey

  • wow they realy scare me with thier voices sounds spooky

  • The old cybermen are so much more scary than the new series ones. There voices are brilliant, much less human and they injured or stunned not killed. This is the thing that the new series doesn't understand about Cybermen, the scary thing about them is the fact they don't want to kill you, its not logical, a waste, they just want to convert your body into one of them. Its the way they survive.

    Thanks for the post.

  • Hi Cbatt, Just passing through! This is a Really good Trailer. I doubt anyone could EVER surpass this! It has a perfect build up, The Enemy is Revealed, & then It all just Kicks off sumit Chronic! Just Like the Teser Trailer to ALIEN, & Congo. And they are proffesional Productions by Multi Million Dollar Companies! You really are a Vaild Who Fan! You & will Have to meet one day for a Long chat! But for now... Where in Omega's Name is the Rest of Power of the Daleks! I'm Dying 2 See the Rest!!!

  • Its coming, its coming! (like christmas but better!)

  • The old cyberman voices are much better (ie, creepier and more unearthly) than the current version.

  • the phaze we must surive is one of the most scary thins ever
