i bought a restoration kit with sand paper in them and a polish. after i did the sanding and polish the lenses are much more worst than it is... what should i do now??? should i buy another one and redo everything??? the surface of the lense are smooth but it is blurry... when i wash it with water it gets clear but when the water dries it gets very foggy... please help me sir....
60 bucks!!!! that thing wont last a know a guy that makes this and charges 30 bucks but he also use sandpaper. and finally i know which brand works i bought it already it cost me 30 bucks and works!!!!!!!!!
Man thats a lot of overspray...hope those liquids come cheap. This is not the best way. Also a note for those who use clear, it can crack and look even worse down the road.
The thing is that you need to protect your lights after polishin, thing that you didn't do on the video. You should take 1 step with 600 grit, second step with 1500 (including soapy water) and then polish with a mid cuttin compound. After doing these 3 steps, use a plastic polish to seal up the plastic for a good protection and restore the plastic shine and then add a spray of Plastex for a long protection and an absolute shine.
those lights look like that beacuse their are wet when they are dry they go back to foggy i have an 02 kia sportage and i put wd40 they look clear by time they look foggy again,
try sandpaper with a multipurpose cleaner wet the sandpaper keep the sand paper wet all times and thall doit use after polish to finish.
Hey Cbreeze and killersushi, you have no idea what you are talking about... I do this too and the overspray has no effect on anything more than two feet away... and even if it does, we have a cleaner just for that... what you think that nulights didn't think of that? You guys are ignorant morons.
And what was the point of masking with 1/2 tape around the headlight when you just sprayed the whole friggin parking lot! Someone get that man on a lawn mower and take that gun away from him!!
what did you do man ? and what did you use ? I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM AND SAME CAR HELP ME !
