@NERV1233 yes I do. I have all sorts of fancy toys including the ones i listed below. I also use fruity loops and a djx, and garage band on occasion. Making this stuff is pretty simple. You get an idea in your head (rather the subconsious does) then you kinda get motivated and sit down and press buttons or pick the strings. Music comes out. It's been coming out since the beginning of time. We are one, this is the planet of sound. But the alien genius who creates the tools is the real musician.

This is no advantage, because the vocabulary of sounds is now limitless. The artist choose from an unending arsenal of any possibility. The artist only makes decisions, caters to his fancies, and executes a vision. Badassery happens in many ways, and art pulls from a vast frame of reference.

@funkietom Close, but no cigar. The sound is already there. You're right, there is no advantage. Other than monetary and provisionary and who profits from using something that is already there. It's complicated and simple. Hard to explain, but ultimately it is limited. We make strides in instrumentation, but it's just another tool.
