The first few times you use the machine the belts are just getting broken in. If left unchecked the machine may run sloppy or end up chewing through a belt. I noticed this after three short runs. The manual walks you through the 'run in/break in' adjustments: attachment and traction controls. As mentioned previously, once the adjustments were made the machine responded much tighter. I think there was something in the manual talks about sticking controls (it's up front somewhere) .
Does it still stick even after the "run in adustments"? I think I saw something in the manual that said if the interlock controls were stuck (maybe why your machine is locked up) might need to be serviced at the shop.
Hey Phoenix, hows your machine running? I got the same one maybe a month before and looks like the price has nearly doubled. Can't really blame the sellers though, this thing has worked like a mini tractor. Definitely felt the first few uses it was loose, but after the run in and adjustments this thing practically ran off throwing snow much farther than I ever could.
Oh, whoever posted about the free hat, thank you very much.
It's running great, but for some reason as of late the Attachment Clutch Lever (on the right side) sticks and the machine keeps going forward. I have to forcefully lift both levers to get it to stop. Anyone know why this is happening?
I did not sign up for the free hat. Which do you speak of? I saw your videos and it was my inspiration, actually :) Whereabouts in Ontario do you live? I used to frequent Southern Ontario quite a bit, just moved from Buffalo a few years ago.
Yeah after I posted my comment, I did google it and found it. I signed up about a week and a half ago. Just waiting for it to come in. Thanks for letting me know about it!
