  • I tried blocking photoshop from accessing the internet and stop asking for the stupid password each time and it didn't work, I did it exactly how you said and nothing.......

  • @overtkill7 Photoshop has more than one file that will try to access the internet. You've got to block them all, or re-route the server addresses it tries to connect to to your own, local ip in the hosts file.

  • that was a Helpful ..Thanx a lot :)

  • EPIC WIN NICE TUT...

  • Thanks a lot!

  • What Screen record program do you use? And how do you get it to zoom in and out?

  • @LuiNJae I was using camtasia there, the zooming was done in post.

  • firewall is one word not two.

  • @Revan727 ok.

  • @Revan727 muppet!

  • how do you do it on XP? I blocked it in

    notepad "C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts"

But the problem still gives me errors ><

  • Ok TutorialGuyDudeMan here is the skinny. My computer blows. I play Second Life. It continues to crash on me. I've determined the problem. it is the other programs that try to access the internet. Mainly Windows update. If I block everything but Second life components from accessing the internet would it harm anything and would SL run/work better with fewer lags and crashes?

  • thanks man i need the help

  • tyvm i appreceate this tut, how the incoming connections can they detect that im blocking that program from updating? (they being the company trying to send the update)

  • @TutorialGuyDudeMan kk thx =p i appreciate the help

  • How about this for XP?

  • @LFiers hosts file

  • Thanks man. I downlaoded a free trial of adobe cs4 and i need it for a school course. I dont have the $600 to buy a serial number and i heard of a way to get it free by disconnecting its access to the internet. Thanks a lot.

  • @SquareRootOfPoop which file do you block? i have adobe after effects cs5 that im trying to block and i dont know which file to block from the internet. any ideas? what file worked for you?

  • @doingitftw Pretending I don't know why your asking, you block all the exe's.

  • @TutorialGuyDudeMan haha thanks man

  • Hey great video but when i try to for my program but i always still gets through, i'll blocked all ways i know it could access the internet

  • sometimes a program can have multiple exe's or a few other files of a different type that can access the internet hidden inside their install location, try finding them.

  • muuummmiiieee lol (5Star)

  • nice dude, keep it up:D
