it annoyed me when the scientist was talking about how there still in there early stages of testing like its a scary product, how long has it been tested in comparison to the mandatory ten years the dangerous prescription drugs they hand out.

Strict regulation, high fees, exuberant taxation, are going to squash our push for legalized medical marijuana use. If I can purchase the same product form an underground source for half the price what do think will happen? We need to level the playing field and keep things simple.

Marijuana is one of the few drugs that does NOT lead to a direct release of dopamine. The endocannabinoid system is in it's own class, the Cannabinoids THEMSELVES regulate those things - they do not just RELEASE other chemicals like other drugs do.
In fact CBD helps moderate the level of THC being used

Requiring the same thing for marijuana is a little silly, because humans have ingested this drug safely for thousands and thousands of years. We evolved alongside this plant, it probably aided in our evolution (which is why all of us have an endocannabinoid system).

My mother killed herself because she could not get relieve from pain of Degenerative Disc Disease and Fibromyalgia. I have the same problems and more and I will use anything to get ride of the pain that I suffer with. I do not want to put my family through the pain and grief from me killing myself. I am 52 years and just graduate a 4.0 average in a medical career. Thanks

In 50 years we will be argueing about growing stem cell cultures in our homes to bypass organ and tissue donations when a friend or yourself needs a new kidney etc. This sounds whacked but think about it. The only reason the growers resort to violence is because it is illegal. If they legalize it, the Mexican drug cartel would lose a lot of money. Adrenaline kills a marijuana high so driving,somebody hurt,baby being born etc would snap some one out of it. They could use field sobriety test along with sensitive saliva test that will show is someone is high at the moment. There has never been a single isolated marijuana accident in history while someone is under just marijuana. There is a risk of dependancy... "you idiot". As with anything, people can become addicted and dependent. Its just that one would become more dependent on the high rather than the chemical. So marijuana is more like gambling than alcohol in that respect.
