  • he only has one eyebrow ha ha lol

  • you probely hold it wrong you should not put your weight on top of the stocks

  • you have dark brown hair, light brown beard, but black eyebrows...

    whats going on here?

  • The WE SCAR is a good rifle but you have to be careful with what you use, the cO2 was probably to strong and broke your stock.... I've never used GBBR's but I do watch a lot of videos about them (specifically the WE SCAR) but I do know that if you use the cO2 mags, then the part of the stock that attaches onto the gun will eventually break.

  • Yea, those we scars are junk. If your looking for a good gbbr, get a WETTI awss m4.

  • Should I get this gun is it going to break on me like my last 2 rifles??

  • C02 probably wouldnt be the reason for that breaking. WE made that part poorly out of some cheap metal. That part that is broken is known as part #27. You can find it at redwolf airsoft for 56.00$. It is made up of reinforced, light metal alloy. Also if you want to use c02, get part #66. This part also commonly breaks from what ive heard. Hope I helped :)

  • before u shoot c02 id say replace almost all the parts ra tech steel, because the stuff they use to make it is like pot metal

  • ye! mines leaking propane from the fill nasal FUCK!!! have to buy more mags, its a slow leak but fuck i just got it a week ago grrr there 40$ each to :@

  • @doom705 just buy some new orings or gaskets which ever its leaking from and have someone install them or if you can do it yourself then do that but i thought the same thing but i bought new seals instead and it saved me and if you do buy new seals make sure to use alot of silicone grease not spray

  • ive fired thousand of bbs with co2. had to use co2 since the climate here sucs adn greengas wont condence into presurised gas in the mag so i get maybe 2 shots with it. everthing still works, the trigger mec is the most prone to break i think.

we scar has a lots issues. most you can indetify and fix yourself.

with the gass issue fixed. i noticed the lip thats tuching the brasstube has a gap betwen. and the "hammer" had an issue that the pin to the roller fall out during firering so i glued it

  • @sizzurf does it hiss out gas and expels everything? if so check to make sure your o-rings arent broken. Also make sure youre filling your magazine correctly(vertically facing down with a 1 second break between 3 seconds of filling). Try to check as well if the lip of the magazine, where the gas comes out is making direct contact with the gas valve lip on the gun.

  • So.. I have the same gun but black. And it'll shoot like 5 bb's then make a noise like airs escaping I'm very confused. Any suggestions

  • @sizzurf well if the mag leaks when its not in the gun then you probably have a bad o ring or bad gasket try tightening the fill valve and the gasket screws in the mag and that might fix it

  • Gas is good but not Co2

  • Co2 is deadly for any gun I had a gbb co2 pistol and the slide shot off and hit me in the face :/

  • its right co2 is killing your gun ... @ all user from the we tech scar gbb ... forgot co2 use greengas ...

  • I'm getting this soon and thank god i'm getting the green gas one. from the comments here it seems co2 is deadly to this gun.

  • well its not the CO2 you probably had the stock pushed onto your sholder too hard, my friends scar did the same thing and mine i have had for a year or 2 and works perfectly

  • c02 is to power full the bolt flies back a lot faster and harder so only use green gas thats what i do with mine

  • wtf were you doing?? running up to the guy and hit him cause yo ran out of ammo?? FOR ALLA ??? lol

  • the gas version doesnt have that problem

  • When you use co2 you need reinforced internals and screws and othher certain reinforced, and added internals

  • i also have the same problem. mine broken after 10+ magazines with single and auto shots while i only use green gas with it...

never played on the field, only traget shooting...

i'm contacting the manufacturer through the site and waiting for their repond.

  • The generation III scar doesn't do this, yo either had gen I or II

  • But the Scar is build, for using CO2.!!

  • it looks like you hit somone with it

  • CO2 is always not recommended...

    RIP to your scar

  • Lol you fking retard why did you slam the Fold?

  • Try GHK then... they do run on co2 mag...

  • This gives a whole new meaning to "my airsift gun broke".....

  • airsoft companies shouldnt be trying to convert their shitty chinese plastic pieces of shit into paintball guns. THEY CAN'T RUN ON CO2.

  • Don't shoot it when ur not in a war retard!

  • @TheBonusballer then how are you gonna get better with the gun you have to practise with the gun or you'll probably keep getting you ass kicked so you might want to rephrase that because it doesn't make any sense

  • @psychosniper333 you practice with a real gun. more realistic. almost same recoil.

  • @TheBonusballer lol ok i guess that makes more sense

  • @psychosniper333 It wasn't an insult or anything. Except for the retard piece.. Sorry about that. but seriously. Real guns are awesome to practice with.

  • @TheBonusballer none taken

  • From the date this was posted, I'm assuming it was the first generation scar. The we scar out now is much more sturdy and reliable. It also helps to install the npas system to help with gas efficiency and fps. I have a 3rd gen scar with the lighter bolt carrier and a ratech npas, and i love the gun. Very reliable. Still, it sucks to pull a brand new gun out of the box and have it fail.

  • you know there are so many problems with this gun im probley go with an aeg.

  • Comment removed

  • my we scar broke on the first day as well, but it was the floating nozzle o ring. seems to be a quality gun

  • hahah be glad it dindt happend with a real gun, then you probely be dead

  • that's the problem with WE, they use Zinc alloy based material to make their garbage quality receiver, My PDW broke after 30 minutes on GG not even on CO2! the lower receiver is totaly smashed! the folding stock just fall off like a piece of shit. I got no prob with my KJ M4 GBB and it has a polymer Canadian Airsoft receiver. 9700 + rounds, no shit happens yet

  • i dont think that is the real guy or some dude ther gun you can fix that if you think or two but machining or tool and die revers engineer it i can fix it you live in Canada

  • I made my own spring for it. same resistance, but twice the amount of coil in the same length. helps a lot with recoil.

  • co2 gives it more kick but kills your gun

  • use green gas or propane not co2

  • co2 wrecks everything. :P

  • No offense man but that is a WE-tech for you.

  • Co2 is Shit man. The gun isnt meant to handle the power of co2. Also. If too much gas is released when the trigger is pulled then the gas would push objects off the gun making things break.

  • THATS WHY YOU DONT USE FUCKING C02

  • @CerealIsDaBomb Well, it comes from the factory using CO2, hardly can blame him for using it.

  • use propane or green gas

  • use propane

  • Glad I waited for the new version, I've put about 1500 rounds through it with no problems...then again I'm a maintenance freak and I lube the internals every 500 shots or so

  • Comment removed

  • "We are proud to be made in taïwan" they said. Here you could see what is a taïwan made products!!! It sucks!!!

  • the co2 does affect it because co2 is stronger and the parts werent really made for it even though they sell it as co2 version, if had the green gas version for 2 years and still shoot it evryday, ive brought it to almost evry game and field and nothing has gone wrong, just as long as you lube it w/ silicon evry once an a while. overall, its safer to buy green gas version cuz it shoots 390 constantly with zero mods done, and it will last a whole lot longer

    (maybe 5 years longer)

  • madre, que cara de empanado que tiene....

  • @catisark1 si

  • Hey bro... I know it's kinda late now- pretty much a year later- but as of now they fixed that part of the gun in the 2010 run version (which I have)... also, CO2 is high power, low efficacy- unless you have a Negative Air Pressure system the CO2 just puts too much power to the weak parts in that version- you would have been okay with Green Gas. Also remember- this is no different than a real gun in the sense that you have to clean it and lube it after EVERY SKIRMISH.

  • LUBE IT UP

  • IT HAS TO DO THAT YOUR USING Co2!!! CO2 BUTCHERS YOUR GUN MAN!!! USE GAS!!!!

  • If you guys are wondering how your stock "CO2 version" is when it comes to reliability. Fold the stock and fire 5 magz in full auto see if you break anything. Now this gun was designed in a way where its supposed to be able to fire with the buttstock folded at least the RS is. Try this with the WE SCAR if it holds you have a good build, if not well... :P

  • yeah m8, the CO2 is one of the problems. there have been incidents of the stock and receiver breaking from CO2 use. but after 4 mags? thats unheard of. probably a flaw in the alluminum. from the date of the video, you got one of the earlier generation scars, the newer ones have better materials.

  • @arapistonhalo

Yups I think he has the earlier ones. I have a black one just got it 2 weeks ago, its Gen 3/Ver 3 which is a "CO2 version" according to WE and it did the same thing. I thought they already addressed this issue but this thing still happens from time to time. I was able to shoot at least ten mags out of it before it did this. Prolly a lemon though.

  • @arapistonhalo or possibly someone could have mishandled it during the shipping, they kinda throw stuff around everywhere...so i could have been damaged then, but didnt fully break until it was shaken a couple of times...

  • factory defect

  • @mongdex epic fail

  • I guess you just had an accident running (falling on da rifle using it like a bed lol)

Didn't meet ppl with this problem and i know like 6 persons with WE TECH Scar (i'm one of them)

    bb

  • @ ahibadiboo:

Ive been in airsoft since they came out with the FLON/butane guns thats more than 10 years. I tech my own gun and own a couple of AEG. I make my own FET circuits and do my own upgrades. I am willing to bet you just started playing maybe a year or two. There are lemons and there are shitty builds you have to understand that. They have addressed the hinge plate thing with thicker plates but they still break. Ive know guys who replaced theirs 3 times. WE SCAR isnt built for CO2.

  • Comment removed

  • I have the exact same problem I noticed it though before it broke of completely it just broke the top part where the screw comes through the rail and cracked the left side of the tab. That part should be steel not pot metal. Where did you get the replacement part? DO NOT ORDER THE CO2 version unless you put an NPAS kit.

  • Check my video guys.

  • This gun works beautyfully with green gas and propane but stay away from co2 that will most likely crack your stock.

  • Most WE haters fail to realize that WE are the first company that made a Scar GBB, especially one using CO2 and these people should really try making a better one that can take the forces involved while staying at a reasonably low price level.

Also, WE have made attempts on rectifying the failure by shipping guns with stronger hingeplates. If your gun fails you probably got a faulty plate which IS covered by warranty. As with everything else, give it the benefit of a doubt. Warranty will cover!

  • WTF DUDE!How did you do that prone fail?

  • WE sucks. JG/Jing Jong, G&G, Matrix, and Tokyo Marui are the best makers and give the best quality guns.

  • @MeowMixMan9000 KWA is better than all of those you just listed

  • KWA sucks

  • @MeowMixMan9000 How I have a G&G m4 and a kwa m4... the kwa one is way better.... you can't talk crap about it when you probably dont even have one.

  • @AirsoftCalifornia Yeah. I do. I have a JG M4 and is whoops A! Is Awesome. High accuracy, great range, great durability. dosent break and im rough with it. Cleans EASY! And looks AWESOME!

  • @MeowMixMan9000 Im not saying JG is bad. I have a JG M4 Also, when i said you probably don't even have one, i was refering that you dont have a kwa

  • @AirsoftCalifornia Oh yeah lol. I dont. I just prefer JG Matrix or tokoyo mariu.

  • @MeowMixMan9000 JG? haha, you just lost all your credibility.

The WE SCAR-L was a completely new design, so of course the first couple of batches are going to be flawed. G&G have made some good guns, but at the sma etime they have also made terrible guns.

  • WE tech has not only pretty much fixed this problem in new models, but that part is easily available (not to mention cheap), and WE-tech has a warranty for this now.

  • glad I odered the green gas version O_O

  • Thats why i prefer the real deal..............

  • Don't use co2 because it's bad unless the gun is co2 ready

  • You need duct tape.

Does anyone know how i might be able to mod a magazine for one of these to have an air hose to a big propane tank on my back or something? preferrably easily detachable and re attachable since the bb's do run out.

  • Mine came with the stock broken in the box. I'm gonna blame cold weather and poor packaging, but it does have some design flaws in the stock area.

  • The gun comes dry, read the manual and lube your gun.

  • CO2 is horrible, use green gas. Or go cost effective and use propane (Much cheaper and higher fps in most cases than green gas)

  • I'm getting the green gas version! If I want higher fps I'll get the RA TECH part that bumps it over 500 fps and sacrifice the $50! Plus I'd rather pay $50 for a part once than $10 for the butt stock plate thingy majig over and over while waiting for it to get to your house while the SCAR is looking at you like you asshole look what you done to me, forget the co2 it's hurting me ahhhhhhhhhh! I think almost everybody has that problem with the co2 version! stay (sic)

  • you where probly using the 1st or 2nd generation gun. They made a 3rd generation where they fixed that issue along with alot of other issues. Also, it broke because you used the Co2 version which has to much recoil for how the stock is built unlike the regular gas version.

  • the part broke because the recoil spring was putting to much pressure on the stock

  • Man you look like your about to cry lol

  • Lubricate the gun.... Basic Maintence, go get a machinest to make new parts.

  • did you loop it

  • LOL pot metal...

  • dont use co2 mags

    it damages the butt stock

  • it looked like you hit the scar against the wall

  • Nice of you to show the truth about WE's poor QC and cheap material made parts.

    WE=Cyma of airsoft.

  • @gbbrifles4life Your rertarded

  • at CO2 u maybe get this problem like this guy, cause u have a lot more fps. With Green gas i never heard from somedody, that the stock was broken, but i have a tip! If u want to buy a WE Scar buy the Co2 Version BUT use Green gas mags with normal Green gas. The reason is simple. The CO2 Version of the Scar is more solid than the Gas Version !

At the moment WE does every Scar with CO2 components but some shops, do have the old one, so be careful^^

  • yeah i agree with you ive got the green gas type and its awsome and is good quality i havnt had any problems with it.

  • Nice Orange amp!

  • we fixed the weak area and have very little problems with it

  • i got the gen 3 and got it with a broken stock hinge. got a replacement, 5 round later it snapped, got another and it snapped after 2 mags.. =( but evike has helped me this whole time, and yes i lubed it. i sent it back for a free replacement. i love evike

  • Thats cos its a gen1. No gen 2 and gen 3 are out in the market so hopefully no more buttstocks falling apart =)

  • fail

  • I just bought one, u guys think they fixed this problem??

  • @untulisc was it green or co2?

  • Co2 shot it many times no problems :) but I'm switchin to greengas cuz it's cheaper and better safe then sorry specially with low budget :)

  • and BTW, you said that u fired it right out of the box and thats not very good. youre supposed to lube everything first so that might have caused the fail ^^

  • The WE Scar is (i think) meant for Gas. BUT u can use it with Co2 as well but its not recommended cause the charging lever stop might brake because of the force

  • it was originally made for gas, but players wanted a co2 version, so they made a co2 compatible version. different internals.

thats what the WE website says.

  • it was a defect the gbb had nothing to do with it any WE supplier would take a return my we m4 came with no trade marks i sent it back and the next one they sent me had all colt markings look into it

  • shitty gun, nice amp

    +1

  • Comment removed

  • Try being polite first of all. And 2nd, he made this video July 2009, which means he has Gen. 1 of the WETTI SCARs. They've reinforced the backplate since then.

  • were did you buy yours from?

  • GET THE GAS ONE

i have it, it is WAY better in my opinion

  • .... they are both gas .... co2 is in fact a gas and so is propane

  • Ok. i don't have this gun yet but what i do know is that as soon as you get it, lubricate it.

clean it and take care of it!

  • this dudes an idiot learn to do some research befor you buy something if it says co2 will break it then dont use it plus it takes more than vibrations to snap metal learn to take care of ur shit asshole

  • Actually no, the gun IS meant for Co2. Older model had a weak contact point for the recoil assembly which has been fixed. No problems with Co2 on my WETTI's.

  • if another says WETech im gonna kill em.

  • why don't you like WE-Tech?

  • i am happy to live in germany, we have 2 years warranty for every technical machine asgs included =)

  • No th Co2 has higher presser than green gas and the internals jest were not built to handle that type of presser which probly caused the system to fail but you can but upgraded internals for a farly cheep price and that would not happen

  • Pretty much the only good replacement parts are made custom or from RA Tech. The internals are fine, it is the backplate. Do you even have this gun?

  • no thats not why. the co2 version has problems because of the hardkick, he was right. the green gas versions have had little to no problems.

  • yup the co2 probably made the metal weak by freezing it

  • How the hell did you do that?

  • Yup... not good with co2. Until they make a CNC piece for the co2 version don't even bother purchasing it. Get the green gas version instead

  • yeah CO2 kills all airsoft guns dont use co2

  • It's preference.

  • no... i mean co2 breaks airsoft guns.... if you use co2 on any kind of airsoft gun its gonna break... its fine for paintball because paintball guns have less moving parts that can be cracked by co2. co2 is more violent and brittle then green gas which means it cal also crack metal and break plastics....it can also wiggle some little screws loose..... dont use co2 with airsoft.

  • so would you recommend the WE C02 m4 AWSS because i've heard nothing but good comments and nothing about split parts ect.

  • yeah i would just use green gas mags instead of co2 mags... since the WE scar and the WE m4 use the same mags just get some green gas ones

  • hmm. i've spoken to a few people including WE and it was because the stock plate was too weak for co2. They recalled stocks and they all have reinforced stocks now. Co2 is just stronger thus a gun needs stronger parts which the ver3 awss has.

  • well i havnt really been looking into that gun but co2 is also alot more powerfull which means it gets alot colder when it expands so it makes metal parts alot more brittle which means it can crack metal pretty easy too

  • hmmm i've been told that co2 isn't effected by weather and it dosn't get that cold ;/ this is what i've been told. I have also heard nothing about brittle parts only the hop up rubber going brittle which is an easy cheap replacment.

  • well i haven't really looked into the specific gun your looking at but i have heard of co2 creating cracks in the outer and inner barrel of some types of guns

  • Yeah i've heard of inner not outer but you can buy new barrels i think which prevents and it doesnt cost alot so its all good :)

  • one word, POT METAL

  • haha well you can blame the packaging of the gun

    the packaging is CRAP

and if the shipping company didnt do a good job with handling it has a big chance of damage

  • The WE SCAR-L Mod lll is going to be able to take the pounch from a co2 mag. But if you dont have a mod3 juse gas mags!!!

  • yeah ive seen alot of this and similar defects, they need to fix this cause as of now there just crap

  • CO2 = CRAP

  • yeah it's very unreliable i'd stick with green gas co2 is just too unpredictable

  • Yeah... this is why you get the green gas model, not the co2 model. The pot metal stock hinge is too weak to handle anything above propane.

  • the first wave of WE SCARS have all failed some how

  • I think you just got a lemon in the production guns. What you can do is glue on some neoprene pad (i.e., part of a mouse pad) on the back end of the recoil spring. (After the block of metal, you'll see the recoil spring leading to the bolt, the area on the inner part of the block.) It's sort of hard to explain, but I think you get it.

  • BUYER AWARE AWSS version stand for ALL WE SCAR SUCK!!!!!!!!

  • I don't know if its because the people on youtube just arent as familiar with news, technical issues, etc. compared to people on airsoft forums.. but reading the comments on this video makes me want to cry. are people this dumb, or is airsoft just hitting generations too ignorant to do their own research?

NO-ONE else has had this problem. The issue that near everyone has is the PLASTIC HINGE on the folding stock is cracking and in some cases, breaking entirely.

    damn.

  • They are making a upgrade part for this, co2 will break the stock.

  • no, its a manufacturing defect. there are plenty of users that haven't had it break on them.

  • This probably was just a manufacturing defect.. it won't happen on all guns.

  • lol

  • :D schecter guitars

  • You can buy a real SCAR for about 3 grand.

  • And only be able to shoot it on semi auto and have to go through a shitload of stupidass classes so you can have a government record of your gun and people checking up on you just for having it....

  • what a dumb airsofter kinda answer...

  • ya green gas would help alot for the durability of the gun....

BTW... I think you need a new upper receiver.... :S

  • I never use co2. Same with pistols it kills them or breaks the slides. Stick with the normal gas version. Its also recommended to check all screws are tightened and lube the internals as well before using. Very easy thing to do as its got a quick take down feature. Thanks for showing what happened though.

  • so you bought the Co2 version and it fucked up after 2 days?

    wtf

shit quality thx for showing to us!

  • do not buy co2.... co2 kills more gun then husbands that come home early kill poeple
