it is. Splash mountain has one small drop a medium drop and of course the big 50 foot drop at the end. this one has a drop but its kind of small and not as fun

Knott's needs more themed rides like this one. No more of that "extreme thrill ride" crap, please. If I wanted thrill rides, I'd go to Six Flags. I loved Knott's as a kid because of the themed rides and attractions like the Soap Box Racers and Kingdom of the Dinosaurs. Now those two are both gone. :o(

I was eating a candied apple on this ride and they tole me to put away... Once i got to the top i started eating it, and at 2:17 my friend took the apple and threw it off the edge... And at 2:46 you have to look for a light (red, or blue) and u have to put ur hands up really fast... Like up and down, They have a recorder that plays "sit down" when u put ur hands up. We always put em up really fast and it goes "s-ss-sss-sss-sss- I-t-tt- Down" Its hilarious... Everybody try it when u go to knotts.

two drops , i have a season pass this year, and the first time i went on it i got freaked out cause we went into the dark and all of a sudden we just dropped! so just wanted to let you guys know, the drop in the dark, the first super dark tunnel where you can't see anything is the first drop, but it isn't that big, but the second drop is noticeable, bcz you will be going up hill, that one is just a bit bigger, i always put my hands up and smile (im type of person that is scared of silver bullet

It really depends on the weight. If your log doesn't have that many people in it, it won't be as heavy and you won't get as wet.

This ride is one of only a few classic log flumes still in existance. As a huge Disney fan, I love Splash Mountain, and feel it is a better ride. Although this ride is great none the less. The only sucky part is every other time I visit Knott's this ride is closed.
