The voice at the beginning is Tom Barnard from the KQRS morning show. He's done a lot of voice-over work actually. Not anymore though.

KRON-TV in San Francisco used cuts from the same news music package during the mid-1980s until the summer of 1987. I believe that this music is by Tuesday Productions.

It is "The News Image" by Tuesday Productions. A very underrated news theme that actually did get plenty of play in the 80's across the country.

That's right in July of '87, KRON customized it's news theme called the KRON 1987 News Theme or Foghorn delight. It was also when KRON remodeled it's news set to meet with it's New GGB Legal ID look as well as all of it's NewsCenter 4 newsacasts.

Dennis Bounds is a Seattle anchorman now and has been for a long time, i.e. KING-TV.
