i'm 15, my grandma grew up in barbados and i go there once a year, and i can say that it is the nicest country i've ever been to. the weather is great, the people, are nice, the water is beautiful, and since the island is pretty small, you can get to many unique areas quickly. I always relish the part of the plane ride when you come under the clouds and you circle around almost the whole island to land at grantley adams airport

i went to barbados on one of my stops for a cruise. on blue monkey beach, we got to swim put and pet sea turtles, sting rays, and stuff. on the beach, we got to crack open coconuts and chill with a green monkey that these people were baby sitting for their friend. best day of my life.

Barbados has the Scotland District in the north east and it is quite mountainous. There are also springs and small waterfalls (during the rainy season) in that region where the rasta like to wash their dreads. The east coastline has been broken over time by erosion and that is why there are giant rocks out in the sea.

@TheNigmaticProdigy Barbados is not know for its mountains but it does have... not all over the island but in the north around St Andrew and St Thomas. The view up there is truely spectacular, i wasn't expecting to see any at all. You are right though, just because the island is not covered in mountains does not mean that it lacks in beauty... how much mountains does one need to see? Thankfully there is much more to see.

But as a geography student, and resident of the island for all my life, I can assure you that what is found in the Scotland District are far from what is definition of mountainous. "Hilly terrain" is how it is described, and is so reinforced by the actual name of Barbados' highest peak, "Mount HILLaby", which only rises a measly 1120 feet above sea level

Woah I just got back from Barbados! Woah it's 1:48am! You all should try to visit there min. once! The beaches are heaven no rocks and the turqoise water is warm! Warning: if you go there you must be ready to deal with the heat ( 25-50 degrees celcius )!! So hot!! Ps the airport is air conditioned.
