Great playing! Thanks for posting. I really want that 1st Egg album - the reissue that also has "Seven is a Jolly Good Time," which is one of the best comments about progressive rock I ever heard (and it's really almost before prog). But sadly the album is VERY hard to find.
Hi friend, could u put this in a midi file?, I´m new playing and i would like to learn one of my favourites songs. I have downloaded de Vasco´s. Listen to Crucis "Los delirios del mariscal". Well, friend, greetings from Argentina.
Back in the seventies me and my fellow music nerds were trying to work out our beloved Egg music. Great to see that Dave Mont and Clive continue to inspire us musos to this day. now your homework is to work out the keyboard part for Ennygram. Joking of course.
Great job! Rare to find Canterbury these days I guess. You know...It would be awesome to see you play something from the album Space Shanty by Khan. Also with Dave Stewart on the keyboards.
That 'in the hall of the mountain king' part sounds pretty bad here and now I know the reason. It's impossible to play it the way I played. I've worked it out arranging my fingers in a different order!
Yeah! Nice playing, dude. Eggs first album is a true classic. Do you know how to play "The song of McGuillicudie the Pusillanimous (or don't worry James, your socks are hanging in the coal cellar with Thomas)"? :)
Did you play for Yes?

That beginning 10 or so seconds are absolutely the most modern thing I have heard in prog. :P

Hi! It's still me! Ahaha...
I've discovered all the notes for the right hand, there is a sort of combination with 3 chord:
Bbsus4, B sus4 and A sus4.
Is the Bass line follow the same kind of line? (with this same chords)
Can you explain me the Bass line?
(Sorry for my english, i'm italian and here we have unique terms about music!!)

I will put on the web the midi file soon. Be patient please :-)
THere will be Right and Left hand AND the bass line.
And one more thing - on this video I play it WRONG! :-)

How did you learn this song?
andreaviolent 2 years ago
I learn music by listening to it :)
It's the best way to do it.
Although the intro was extremely hard to learn.

Bravo !
Very rare nowadays to find a real extravagant "Canterbury school" keyboard player

It like your in some film being chased by some futuristic bad guy armed with some lasser weapon

That intro is uncannily like the album version...fantastic playing.
If you take requests, I'd like to hear your take on Dave Greenslade's solo on Valentyne Suite!

That was really good - Dave Stewart would be touched to see and hear that.
Love to hear more of those early Egg organ pieces.
All the best,
Martin.

Nice! I play the piano myself and I'm pretty interested in what chords Dave Stewart plays in the beginning. Perhaps you could post them here? :)

I did post them but YouTube didn't take it. I'll try to write them down and post again.
