its amazing how this song applies to so many different aspects of our lives. It doesn't have to be just the physical needs that He heals. He is also the healer of our emotional and spiritual needs as well. I am so thankful to have a God that loves me enough to provide and be the true HEALER i need.

I haven't cried in about 20 years. This song let me cry. I don't care if you feel betrayed by the circumstances of the songs writer, this song is special and meaningful to me and to many others.
To me, it's really not so important who actually wrote the song.. it's his life, and he chooses to do what he wants to do. We can't change that. But this song, I went to a winter camp and it was the first time I had ever heard it. It really, really changed the way I think. Despite whatever reasons the man choose to write the song, evil or good, God used it for good and His glory, and I believe it has the capability to change lives. But hey, that's just my opinion.
Just because someone who sang this song has sinned doesn't make the lyrics any less true. They glorify God. And we all have sinned. Paul is talking about people who pretend to be Christian yet they don't even know Christ. But don't you believe people can change? Even when you're walking with Christ you'll stumble. The important thing is to keep loving and trusting in God. Trust that He'll work in you and in others. He's not going to let anyone fall so far that they can't be lifted up again.

I am a walking testimony for what the Lord has done in my life. I was diagnosed with oral cancer. I prayed, and I claimed the Lords healing, I kept repeating, "Because of His Stripes, I have been healed", when the doctors retested the slides from a biopsy, there was no malignancy whatsoever. Nothing is impossible for the Lord to do in your life. All you have to do is trust in the Lord, surrender to Him, and He will take care of you. Thank you Jesus!!

@dragonsandra54 it amazing what god can do. i'm 11 years old and i broke my ankle in 5 diffarent places the church i go to had a healing service and a revival the speaker prayed and prayed by the end of the night i could fill no pain at all i could walk perfect and i went to the doctor the next day he told me nothing was wrong he couldn't think how this was possible i told him the lord had healed me he thought i was crazy hope god has moved more in you life -kayla

Please pray for the families who are in deep pain, the families that lost two little boys in a house fire, and pray for the baby girl who was medivact to london ontario, the doctors can't make no promises that she'll make it through.. To me, it's really not so important who actually wrote the song.. it's his life, and he chooses to do what he wants to do. We can't change that. But this song, I went to a winter camp and it was the first time I had ever heard it. It really, really changed the way I think. Despite whatever reasons the man choose to write the song, evil or good, God used it for good and His glory, and I believe it has the capability to change lives. But hey, that's just my opinion.

Just because someone who sang this song has sinned doesn't make the lyrics any less true. They glorify God. And we all have sinned. Paul is talking about people who pretend to be Christian yet they don't even know Christ. But don't you believe people can change? Even when you're walking with Christ you'll stumble. The important thing is to keep loving and trusting in God. Trust that He'll work in you and in others. He's not going to let anyone fall so far that they can't be lifted up again.

@josephnasu I don't support the actions of Guglelmucci. But the song has brought me personal comfort, and encouragement in troubling times. Philippians 1:18 says, "But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice." Christ is preached to those with sickness, physically and spiritually. Christ receives ALL the royalties, as he should.

@josephnasu a rich man asks Jesus how to enter heaven (Mark 10:17-25), it was dealt with in the disciples in Luke 9:48, Exodus 20:3-6 (this one is very important as when we have pride we put ourselves into Gods chair, just as Satan did, we worship ourselves and we fail to love God).
I am not saying what Michael did was right, all I am saying is that you need to take the log out of your eye before you try to remove the speck from someone else (Matthew 7:4-5, Luke 6:42).

I am a walking testimony for what the Lord has done in my life. I was diagnosed with oral cancer. I prayed, and I claimed the Lords healing, I kept repeating, "Because of His Stripes, I have been healed", when the doctors retested the slides from a biopsy, there was no malignancy whatsoever. Nothing is impossible for the Lord to do in your life. All you have to do is trust in the Lord, surrender to Him, and He will take care of you. Thank you Jesus!!

This was a phophecy in the Old Testament that was fulfilled by Jesus when He took our punishment including stripes on his back from whips. He bore our pain and we can receive healing through Him.

@dragonsandra54 it amazing what god can do. i'm 11 years old and i broke my ankle in 5 diffarent places the church i go to had a healing service and a revival the speaker prayed and prayed by the end of the night i could fill no pain at all i could walk perfect and i went to the doctor the next day he told me nothing was wrong he couldn't think how this was possible i told him the lord had healed me he thought i was crazy hope god has moved more in you life -kayla

This is the truth. I ask you............. what is the sign of christianity???? It is the cross, Jesus died for us in the cross. When we suffer it is for a reason usually we learn from our troubles.
When the Jews were exiled it was that time of suffering that led them back to God and at that time they wrote the exodus...... Sometimes we are persecuted........ the bible says that when people look down at a christian it is because he would be fillled with the shining greatness of God's glory.

I will pray That He reveals Himself to you in a way that you will know It is Him, Jesus truly does love you and wants what is best for you. Please before you comment, ask yourself , If God is really there, and wants me to come to Him, and give me His salvation and good things, why would I not want that.

This may seem so insignificant, but in the lyrics seeing that the i is lowercase and You is uppercase really touched me and reminded me that God is above us and truly NOTHING is impossible for Him!! I know a God who heals, restores completely, and never lets His children to stand alone!!
